Outfit of the Day: Floor Length Embroidery Dress
Hello girlies,
As I mentioned in my earlier post, that we have a theme in the fashion designing class each Saturday. This time, we had a theme called “red carpet.” And dude I realized I did not have a single gown in my wardrobe. Frankly speaking, we do not often wear such gowns in our daily lives, but I have realized that we should at least keep one such gown in the wardrobe. You never know, you could get an opportunity to flaunt that beautiful gown!
I had a dress at home which was floor length and I thought of transforming it into a gown because that is the only option I had. Also, I had just one day to prepare and had no time to go out and buy.
I managed to get it stitched from the tailor in one day. The gown is actually an Indian one with metallic brown beige being the base on top. The entire dress has thread work. It has a bust-line shape which gives me a toned look. The sleeves and the area below the waist has the same embroidery for sync. I loved the flare and it gave a pretty princess look. The hem is entirely cut into a nice carving shape. I wore a pretty and delicate floral necklace which matched with my outfit.
I wore simple beige heels from my mom’s collection. For makeup, I used Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse topped up with Maybelline Clear Glow Talc Pressed Powder. For cheeks, I have used Maybelline Cheeky Glow in Fresh Coral and Ulta Lip Color in Romantic Red.
So that was all about my outfit, I hope you guys liked this look of mine
