How are you my pretty ladies doing? I am back with one more lipstick review from Lakme gloss addict range. I picked 5 in all and have already reviewed 3 for you guys, stay tuned for 2 more including this. I picked up all different shades as I would have one shade each in my vanity and can have different and colourful lips every-time. This is the lightest shade in the range. My Experience with Lakme Nude Glow Absolute Gloss Addict :-
Lakme has innovated a lot with their lip colours recently and has made amazing ranges to offer. I picked up 5 shades from this range. This one comes in a long deep grey box with the lipstick inside. The lipstick comes in a dark silver cylindrical bottle with a transparent lid. The packaging is fancier than the 9 to 5 range which shows differentiation of prices. It is very handy and looks gorgeous in one’s kitty. But we need to be pretty careful while closing the lid because the texture is very soft and it might just rip some lipstick off when closing it.
This shade is the lightest shade among the lot and falls on the nude range. It is a decent and appealing nude shade and it has a slight hint of peach which makes the nude shade very much noticeable on the lips. It can be a very good MLBB shade for all. But I doubt that it will cover pigmented lips, so test it before you buy. It will prove to be a good companion with heavy eye make-up, especially smoky eyes. The lips will not look bare due to the peachy hint and all the attraction will still be there on the eyes.
The texture is buttery soft and glides very smoothly on the lips giving the entire colour in just one swipe. It has some small shimmers of you observe it closely, but they do not appear on the lips when you apply it. It has a balmy texture which gives you a boost of colour along with hydration to the lips. It also gives a glossy shine which instantly attracts attention. Due to the glossy and creamy finish, it does settle into fine lines and makes the peach colour very noticeable. In-fact it provided good hydration to my chapped lips and they looked treated well.
It stays very pigmented and glossy for the initial 1 hour and then settles down to a semi matte finish where the colour loses its intensity. After 2 hours I can feel that the colour is going and fading gradually. It will not survive light snacking and meals, as it is a very light shade. But I think this is only for nude lovers or for the ones who want to pick a nude shade. For the rest, this range has many better shades to offer. I personally liked this range because each and every shade from this range that I have tried keeps my face glowing amazingly. Stay tuned, more shade reviews coming up!
Pros of Lakme Nude Glow Absolute Gloss Addict:-
• Amazing variety of shades available.
• The shade is a MLBB shade for everyone and it is a lovely nude shade with slight peach hints.
• It is nicely pigmented and gives a glossy shine along with a boost of colour.
• It keeps my lips hydrated all the day like a lip balm.
• The texture is buttery soft which glides smoothly on the lips giving a creamy effect.
• It stays on my lips for 2 hours with colour and shine gradually decreasing.
• Packaging is very convenient and gorgeous.
• The shade is very subtle and pretty and can be paired up with smoky eyes to get a glamorous look.
Cons of Lakme Nude Glow Absolute Gloss Addict:-
• Transfers .
• Little pricey .
• Leaves shimmers on the lips after the colour fades away.
• Will not suit dusky skin-tones as it makes the skin appear darker.
• I don’t think it has the potential to cover up pigmented lips.
Will I Repurchase/Recommend Lakme Nude Glow Absolute Gloss Addict?
I personally wouldn’t get this because I am not a big fan of such light and nude shades. I am more on the bright and poppy side, so this is it! And anyone who is looking out for a nude shade, this is a really pretty one but if you have tried better options, then this can be skipped!

Conclusion:
I think this is a very pretty shade but not versatile enough to suit all the Indian skin tones. So this can be skipped and there are various amazing shades in the range that can be tried.
