Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Shampoo

How are you ladies? Sunsilk is one brand that 99% of the ladies might have used I am sure. They have so many varieties that every woman can find something for herself. I think this one which I am going to review today is a new launch from sunsilk co-creations by Jamal Hammadi, natural shine expert, Hollywood. I don’t use sunsilk because of the loads of chemicals that they put in. But the reason getting this was I wanted a very little break from the organix products that I am using and this has a blend of 5 natural oils. I have always trusted sunsilk for the beautiful smell that they give my hair, so this one was targeted by me as of now.

Price: Rs 56 – 80 ml, Rs 112 – 180 ml, Rs 192 – 340 ml

Product description: New sunsilk radiant shine shampoo infused with the goodness of ultralight fusion of 5 natural oils: Argan, jojoba, Camelia, Almond and olive, that penetrates deep into the hair, sealing in much needed nourishment, keeping hair healthy inside and shiny outside. It gently cleanses hair while leaving no residue and greasiness.

My experience with Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Shampoo:

So my past experiences with the sunsilk variants were good but the only problem was that they had just too many chemicals and caused hairfall after a certain period. The shampoo comes in a nice white bottle with all golden stuff on it. The cap is shimmery golden and the bottle looks cute. The flip cap is good and open easily but people with long nails beware it might chip your nails.

I bought the 80 ml bottle because I knew that it was just a change that I wanted and I do not intend to make any long-term relationship with sunsilk products. They have resized it to 60 ml now I think, so please guys call it 60 ml and not 80 ml one. Now why I really got attracted to this was by looking at the blend of five most essential oils that we need for healthy, beautiful and shiny hair. Who else would give you so many oils in just one product?

The shampoo comes in light golden colour with those shimmer particles in it and the consistency is moderate, not thick and not even runny. It lathered up nicely but when I started washing the ends of my hair I needed some more shampoo to wash. The smell is just awesome!! This is the best smell among all the sunsilk products that I personally loved the most. It has a strong floral blissful smell which you all will love while the washing your hair. The smell will actually linger around your hair for 2 days or till the time you wash your hair. I am loving this fragrance on my hair. It made my hair very soft and silky. At the time of rinsing my hair there were many tangles but later after completely drying it there were only a few. But when I washed my hair only with the shampoo and nothing else, the results were not similar and upto the mark. It did not do anything great but along with conditioner and your serum it will give really good results.
It gave softness but not immense shine, your hair will shine only in those beautiful yellow lights and not on the road. But I am not going to use it every time I wash my hair. This is just a substitute that I will use when I am bored with organix because I am aware of the chemicals they have.

Pros of Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Shampoo:

-Cute bottle
-Very affordable
-A blend of 5 natural oils
-Amazing floral smell
-Fragrance lingers for around 2 days
-Made hair very smooth and tangle-free if used with the conditioner and serum
-Made hair manageable

Cons of Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Shampoo:

-Loads and loads of chemicals
-There was no 80 ml in the bottle
-The cap is a little tight
-No such shine given to the hair
-Works good only if used with the conditioner and serum or else it is very average

Will I repurchase/recommend sunsilk co-creations radiant shine shampoo?

Yes I may get it again just as a substitute to use once in 2 weeks when I am bored with my hg ones because this has an amazing smell and each and every one will like it. I will recommend it to people who love long lasting smell but check if it causes hairfall, if it does then just stop using this.

Khadi Milk and Saffron Herbal Hand Cream Review

Here I am up with my last product from Khadi. So, this was the only product that was left to be reviewed from my Khadi haul.  All of us know that the best remedy for removing tan is by using saffron and milk or curd. It works so good.  I spotted this hand cream which had both the ingredients in it and was actually ready-made. So, you will not have to actually take efforts to prepare it.  Obviously, the natural one is better because this hand cream has certain chemicals, but such products are always worth a try, aren’t they?

Product Description:

Khadi herbal milk and saffron softens dry rough cuticles with moisturizers. It controls hand nails for a clean, neat cuticle line. It helps prevent chipping, splitting and dry rough nails. It imparts to nails and added luster.

My Take on Khadi Milk and Saffron Herbal HaKhadi Milk and Saffron Herbal Hand Cream Reviewnd Cream:

Okay, so I bought this one to just try the blend of milk and saffron. The cream comes in trademark Khadi tubs made of thick plastic and cream coloured labels with black turn around cap. It is handy to carry around, being medium in size.  I sometimes don’t understand what they write in the product description, the English is a bit incorrect.  Again, they have mentioned only the key ingredients and only the natural ones and no disclosure of other chemicals at all. I always had a belief that Khadi is a very natural brand but I don’t think so now.

When I actually opened the tub, I was shocked because I was expecting the cream to be a little yellowish in colour. As far as I know, even a little strand of saffron imparts a great amount of colour, am I right guys, please correct me if I am not. Now, as they have mentioned saffron as their very first ingredient, there should have surely been some colour to the cream. So, this cream is pure white in colour and looks like bleach in the tub. It is pretty thick in texture, like those body butters we use. I thought I had to massage it a lot so that it gets nicely absorbed, but I just massaged it for like 30 seconds and it all went into the skin.  It feels a little greasy but it happens with almost all hand creams, a little greasiness is always there.

It nicely hydrates and moisturises the skin. Since there is no SPF, I do not use this cream during day time, I only use it at night after having bath.  When I get up in the morning, my skin feels so soft and supple and I love touching my skin in the morning. It helps to even out skin tone and whitens the skin a bit. You will see the change after applying it everyday for 15 days or so. It has a nice and a decent smell but I cannot really describe it, but thank God, the smell is not overpowering like most of the Khadi products.  Overall, a pretty good cream to use at night time, and due to the presence of shea butter, the skin stays hydrated as compared to the other hand creams. Using it at night time gives good results in the morning. Coming to taking care of nails, it does nothing extraordinary, it does prevent dry cuticles but any nail or hand cream would do that. It does not prevent splitting of nails, as it depends completely on the type of nails you have and how well you maintain it.

Pros of Khadi Milk and Saffron Herbal Hand Cream:

• Affordable.
• Available at all online shopping stores.
• It is a blend of say 14-15 natural ingredients.
• Evens out the skin tone and whitens the skin a bit.
• You get smooth and soft hands in the morning if you have applied it in the night.
• Keeps skin moisturized all night.
• Very good for dry skinned beauties.
• Nice smell and not overpowering at all.

Cons of Khadi Milk and Saffron Herbal Hand Cream:

• I expected it to be yellowish as saffron gives out a strong colour, but the cream is white, so I am thinking whether they have really added any saffron in this.
• A little greasy.
• No SPF, cannot be used during the day time.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Khadi Milk and Saffron Herbal Hand Cream?

Yes, I may go for it because it does a pretty good job overnight and the consistency is like body butters, so will give really good results for dry skinned beauties.

Lotus Herbals Lip Therapy – Cherry Review

I hope life is going on great and everyone is enjoying the rain.  My review for today is going to be a lip balm from Lotus Herbals in the flavour Cherry.  I personally love the girly flavours, especially cherries and strawberries.  Of course lip balms are our best friends that we always want to keep in our bags or pockets. Gloss becomes too much for everyday use, so the best alternative is lip balm.  This lip balm is available in 5-6 flavours – chocolate, cocoa, cherry, vanilla, velvety rose and fresh mint. I wanted to try velvety rose but unfortunately the store did not have that, so I picked up the cherry one.  So, let’s jump on to the lip balm.

Price:

Rs. 135 for 4 gm.

Directions To Use:

Apply liberally using the convenient roll-on stick. Use twice during the day for smooth, supple and healthy lips.

Key Ingredients:

Shea Butter, Kokum Butter and Cherry extracts.

Product Description:

The Lip Therapy’s highly active moisturizing formula with high concentration of Shea and Kokum butter, helps to repair dry, cracked and chapped lips and protects them from the drying effect of cold, dry winds of winter, making them looks look healthier and smoother.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Lip Therapy – Cherry:

I always have a habit of keeping one or two different flavoured lip balms in my bag and I think most of you might be having this habit too. I mostly prefer to use flavoured lip balms which have a little bit of colour as well and surely this is one of them. To start with the packaging, the lip balm comes in a cream-coloured cylindrical tube with a picture of cherry on it and a little bit of product description. I think recently they have changed the packaging, you can see pictures of other Lotus lip balms, this looks a little different. The lid is a big one, almost 3/4th the size and the base is 1/4th in size. You open the lid and the lip balm comes out.

The packaging is very handy and convenient to use and does not even break. The lip balm is red in colour and is a little waxy in texture and is very soft. A lot of product gets used up when you apply it because of its softness. The quantity of the product that comes in the tube is exactly that I have shown in the pic.  So, I think the lip balm is going to get used up pretty soon.  After I apply it on lips, my lips really feel hydrated and moisturized and I also noticed that I had a little chapped lips and I apply it everyday, so that has got completely healed and I noticed that my lips look very soft and supple. The lip balm actually did each and everything that it claimed to do. The flavour is a very fruity one and smells of cherries. The smell is really cute and I loved it and all the girls who love fruity fragrances are surely going to love this lip balm.

It gave a light rosy colour to my lips which looked very doll like. It gave my lips a nice glossy shine as well and I think I like this a little better than baby lips because they look more waxy on my lips than these.  This lip balm also contains SPF 15 which provides sun protection as well. While picking it up, I did not know that it has SPF too, but I was lucky I got that benefit too. Overall, I loved this cherry flavoured lip balm and surely going to buy these cuties again.

• Lips feel hydrated and moisturized all day.

• A bit extra product gets used up in one time because of the very soft texture.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Lotus Herbals Lip Therapy – Cherry?

Yes, I will purchase this one absolutely and also try the Velvety Rose as well because they are the only two which will give out soft red colour and make the lips glow, and I absolutely recommend these as well. They are nice affordable ones and will do everything what a lip balm has to.  So, go ahead and pick thee cuties!!

Revlon Colorstay Lip Liner – Raisin

How are you all? My review for today is a lip liner which does not belong to me, it comes up from my mom’s vanity. She got this as a gift from some of her friend. I don’t have many lip liners so I actually try some of my mom’s to just get a feel of how actually the lip liners work. Revlon is a trustworthy brand and I have liked almost all the stuff that I own from this brand. I had a 50-50 opinion towards this one. So let’s go further in detail.

Tips and tricks:

My take on Revlon Colorstay Lip Liner – Raisin :

Okay so the lady got this shade raisin for my mom. It is a mauvy purplish shade with maroon undertones. This shade is pretty dark and very noticeable when you apply it and I am not really fond of such dark shades. I have always loved those cutie corals and pinks which actually give me a delicate look. This is a vampy kind of a shade and will make your face look really bright. It comes in black packaging and a small strap at the bottom denoting the colour. It is like those normal lip liners where you twist the pencil and the lip liner comes out. I had a little problem while twisting it and it may be because this lip liner is a little old but those purchasing a new one will not face this problem. The texture of the lip liner is pretty hard and will not break easily like some liners. When I applied the lip liner to click pictures of the swatches I literally took 5 minutes to apply it entirely! This means that the lip liner does not glide that smoothly or may be  smooth for like 6 months when you purchase it and will start becoming hard later on. My lips looked and even felt dry instantly. And the shade was very matte but was looking really dark and I was not comfortable wearing it. Although when my mom just outlines her lips with this lip liner and fills in her maroon lipstick it looks perfect and graceful as well. The lip liner stays for like 5 hours which is a pretty long time and does not bleed at all. Overall according to me an average one and if I was given a chance I would have picked up some better shade and there are some great pencils which our dear IMBBians have reviewed and I would think of purchasing those instead of picking this!

Pros of Revlon Colorstay Lip Liner – Raisin:

-Makes the face look brighter.
-Looks perfect with a gloss on.
-Better for outlining the lips rather than filling them entirely.
-Stays for a very long time.
-Easily available everywhere.

Cons of Revlon Colorstay Lip Liner – Raisin:

-Gives a vampy look.
-Instantly makes the lips feel and look dry if filled entirely.
-Little expensive as a lip liner.
-Take a really long time to fill in the lips.
-The texture may become hard and dry after some months of purchase.

Will I recommend/repurchase Revlon Colorstay Lip Liner – Raisin ?

No I will not nor will my mom because there are better lip liners shade-wise and quality-wise as well and at a better price. I do not recommend this one.

Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Conditioner

This is again a new launch from Sunsilk co-creations by Mr. Jamal Hammadi. I bought this conditioner along with the shampoo from the same range and the shampoo has already been reviewed by me. I don’t know why they haven’t advertised this product after launching it, I haven’t seen any ads of this particular range. I knew I was going to pass this to my mom because they don’t really bother and nag about the chemicals and all like us. And I planned to use it once in a while. So let’s see how this conditioner worked.

Sunsilk radiant shine conditioner with 5 natural oils replenishes your hair by sealing in the nourishment to give healthy long lasting shine.

My take on Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Conditioner:

So I got this along with the shampoo. I will first start with the packaging, it comes in those tubes which sunsilk has and most of you might have seen them. The packaging is light yellowish in colour and the designs being in golden with black fonts. The tube looks beautiful and the cap is a flip open one that comes in shimmery golden colour mainly to connect it to their radiant shine concept. The conditioner was just half filled and this size can be used for like 5-6 times.

The consistency is thick and buttery and spreads nicely on the hair and as the instructions say do not apply it on the scalp as you guys know how much hair fall does sunsilk cause due to the chemicals. It has an amazing smelll and when I actually apply it I seriously forget those chemicals. It has a floral fruity smell. The smell stays on your hair for like 2 days which is great. When I rinsed out the conditioner my hair felt really smooth but when I dry my hair with the towel I could see and feel the tangles in my hair and I do not really like it because when your hair are wet they are at its weakest point and they tend to break easily and I faced a lot of hairfall due to the tangles. I had to use my serum what else. Then when it dried off completely my hair were really very soft and smooth and I just could not stop touching them. But I did not notice any major sign even when they claimed of having 5 natural oils, so that was a disappointment.

Overall it a good conditioner but nothing related to the shine or anything, just softness and smoothness that’s it.

Pros of Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Conditioner:

-Affordable
-Small sachets and tubes available for trail purpose
-Made my hair smooth and really soft
-Most amazing smell among all sunsilk products
-The fragrance lasts for like 2 days and even more when used with the shampoo
-Has a blend of 5 natural oils as they say

Cons of Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Conditioner:

-The quantity of just half of the tube
-Caused hairfall because of the tangles after conditioning
-Need to apply serum or the hair may look a little rough
-No such noticeable shine given to the hair
-Nothing extraordinary

Will I repurchase/ recommend Sunsilk Co-Creations Radiant Shine Conditioner?

I am not sure whether I will purchase it again or not and actually will not recommend it to those who already have their HG conditioners because I cannot give you any reason for shifting to this one from your HG one, although I will recommend it to those who are sunsilk lovers and current users, I feel this is the best one among all the sunsilk co-creations range.

Boots Caribbean Cocktail Red Soda Splash Shower Gel Review

I made a recent visit to the Beauty Shop in Kandivali and to all you people who stay in Mumbai and love the Beauty Palace in town, do visit the one in Kandivali.  This place is far more organised and I guess has 50 brands more than the town one. I did a lot of impulse buying and shopping has become like an addiction which can never be cured.  So, coming to the product of the day, it is a shower gel from Boots which comes in a very attractive packaging. Read on to know more about this one.

Rs. 190 for 250 ml.

Product Description:

Come on! Have a shot of soda splash in the shower, have fun with the sparkling shower gel which contains moisturizing beads to help clean your skin without over-drying.

Directions To Use:

Massage shower gel over skin and rinse. For best results, use with a shower puff or sponge.

My Take on Boots Caribbean Cocktail Red Soda Splash Shower Gel:

The first and foremost thing that attracted me to buy this cutie was the packaging of course.  I am sure all of you might have liked this packaging that Boots came up with. It comes in a plastic soda bottle shape. It is an elongated one, so does not occupy much space on the bathroom shelf. I was taking this in my hand to place it at the counter and a lady was telling her friend that “wow! this bottle is so cute, even I am getting it.” So, most of them would buy it looking at the unique shape. It has a press open cap which makes it very easy to get the product needed. The next attractive thing was the description. Reading the description and name, I started imagining the fragrance, I sniffed it and it was pretty good. It has a lovely fruit punch kind of a smell resembling peaches, pineapple, green apple and strawberry. It is a cute and fun fragrance to have bath with.

It is blood red in colour and has small shimmering red beads inside I think just to attract people to buy this one, those beads barely did anything. They have mentioned thrice on the whole bottle that please do not drink it It is best to use it with loofah, with the hand, it is really boring. When I was taking bath, I could smell the luscious smell of soda shower gel and enjoyed it.  When I rinsed it off, there was no smell on the skin and even my mom tried, it was the same.  I think I have got used to these shower gels which do not give out smell after rinsing off and I am not going to complain about it from now on. This shower gel left my skin squeaky clean and made me look fresh and even feel fresh. It removed all oil and impurities from my skin. It did not over-dry the skin, so this can be used even by dry skinned beauties. My skin felt really smooth and I did not need any moisturization, but dry skinned people may have to probably. Overall, it is a nice shower gel and it comes in two more flavours.  I did not read the name but one was parrot green in colour and one was yellow. I will repurchase it just because of the cocktail smell and the bottle.

Pros of Boots Caribbean Cocktail Red Soda Splash Shower Gel:

• Very attractive and unique packaging.
• Convenient to carry and occupies a very less space in the bathroom shelf.
• Decently priced.
• Smells like fruit punch with a blend of peaches, pineapple, green apple and strawberry.
• Left my skin very clean and fresh.
• Made my skin really smooth.
• No need of moisturization.
• Suitable for all skin types.

Cons of Boots Caribbean Cocktail Red Soda Splash Shower Gel:

• Availability might be an issue.
• The scent does not last long.
• The shimmery beads inside did not really do anything.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Boots Caribbean Cocktail Red Soda Splash Shower Gel?

Yes to both. People who like changing shower gels every month, do try this, it is pretty good and I will buy it because I loved the packaging and cocktail fragrance.

Purederm Nose Pore Strips Choco Cacao Review

How are my lovely ladies doing? I hope everyone’s in the best of their health. My review for today is these pore strips from Purederm. I have used pore strips from only 2 brands previously – from Pond’s and Cettua.  I hated Pond’s, it did not clean my pores at all. Cettua are the ones that I am in love with and this is the third brand. These strips as you know are really very convenient when you do not want to undergo the pain that the blackhead removing tool gives you. So, let’s jump to the review.

Product Description:

Purederm botanical choice nose pore strips “Choco cacao” are one-step cleansing treatment specifically designed to unclog pores and lift away unwanted blackheads. The strip removes dirt and oil which clog pores, leaving your skin clear and smooth. You will feel a dramatic difference after just one use, and continued use of nose pore strip works to tighten pores, keeping skin looking and feeling fresh.

My Take on Purederm Nose Pore Strips Choco Cacao:

I was just walking in the shop and noticed a pack of these pore strips and I realized that I did not have a single one at home, so planned to pick this one. There were some three different variants – one was choco cacao and the other two green tea and aloe vera. I think the only difference would be the fragrance. This comes in a cute pack wherein you get 6 strips and there are instructions behind the box. There are 6 different strips packed in a silver packet, so you can store them and throw away the box if you want.  There are instructions at the back of the packets as well. The strip has a grey cloth on the top and you peel it off and stick the brown side onto your nose. For it to work effectively, you have to remove the makeup and wet the nose area and stick it on.

Me and my bro were sitting together and doing this pore thing. The strip has a choco kind of a fragrance which reminds me of Lindtchoco-mint chocolate, but trust me, it matches only a little, this one smells artificial.  The strips got properly stuck to the nose and started becoming tighter as time passed by. We kept the strip on for 20 minutes and peeled off the strip from the ends towards the middle.

The strips came out properly and I could literally see my white heads on them. There were only a few whiteheads and blackheads which could not be removed, obviously that would require steaming the face, but all the dirt came on the strip and the nose area was really clean. You can touch and feel the smoothness and the area looked very bright as well. It left a little brown residue of the strip but that went away after rinsing with water.  So, these strips worked amazingly and I wouldn’t mind repurchasing them but I think I am going to stick to Cettua.

Pros of Purederm Nose Pore Strips Choco Cacao:

• From a trustworthy brand.
• Easy to store.
• Instructions given in a very elaborated way.
• Has chocolate fragrance.
• The strip is brown, so the whiteheads can be seen easily.
• The strips are very effective in removing both whiteheads and blackheads.
• The nose area feels softer, clean, smooth and bright after using the strips.

Cons of Purederm Nose Pore Strips Choco Cacao:

• Availability.
• Fragrance is artificial.
• Expensive if compared to Cettua.
• Brown residue left on the nose.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Purederm Nose Pore Strips Choco Cacao?

Yes, I will recommend it as it rightly and effectively does its job, but till the time Cettua is available, I will buy them because both work in exactly similar way and I can get 6 strips at 60 bucks (Cettua), so why not go for them only?

Purederm Vitalizing Orange Pads

Hello beauties,

Purederm is one of my favourite brand for face masks. I have used their cucumber eye pads earlier and when I went to the beauty shop I spotted something similar. And there were these orange pads on the shelf. I did not have a great experience with the cucumber pads but still I planned to give this one a try as orange is always meant to give glow.

Price: Rs 80 for 10 sheets

What Purederm says about Purederm Vitalizing Orange Pads?

Purederm vitalizing orange pads are formulated with skin re-energizing ingredients such as orange, ginseng, gingko and aloe extract. Enjoy the cooling sensation and the natural aroma of freshly cut orange slices as Vitalizing orange pads relax tired, stressed skin.

How to use:

1. Wash your face and place pads overs cheek or other face areas, lie back and relax.
2. Leave pads on for 10-15 minutes and remove
3. Make sure reseal zipper bag after use

My experience with Purederm Vitalizing Orange Pads

Even when my experience was bad with the cucumber pads, I still purchased these as it had orange extract and were not that expensive, so did not mind giving it a try. The 80 bucks pack has 10 sheets in it and purederm has created bigger variants too. They come in a packet which is supposed to be torn or cut from the upper portion when using it for the first time and later it becomes a zip-lock pouch. So you might have seen that most of the purederm masks are difficult to store, this becomes the opposite, becomes very convenient to store and carry. The liquid of the orange pads could be seen from the packet only so tempts me more to use it.

The orange pads look like orange slices and are big enough to cover the cheeks. I was tired when I came from college and was very sleepy and I placed these pads on my cheeks and closed my eyes to relax and guess what I went to sleep lol. It gave a cooling sensation to my skin even if it was not refrigerated. And the pads are pretty wet so it sticks directly onto the skin and you do not have to hold it. They are almost like those sheet masks that directly stick to the skin and the liquid was also pretty good to penetrate deep into the skin. And after 20-25 minutes my mom came in the room and asked me why have you placed these oranges on your face? And that time I realised that I was supposed to remove them. The liquid had then turned to some kind of oil which was tacky so immediately had to be washed.

My skin felt soft and I noticed a glow on my cheeks but that was temporary. It made me feel relaxed and so relaxed that I went to sleep. They smell like those orange ice popsicles and I am sure you all might have eaten it loads in childhood and even now. Overall I did not find them that beneficial as it just gave a temporary glow and nothing else, so I don’t think I am going to pick this again and actually not any of such pads from purederm, I think I will just buy the face packs.

Pros of Purederm Vitalizing Orange Pads:

-Cheap
-Easy to carry
-Zip-lock facility given
-Smells like orange iced popsicles
-Gave my skin a temporary glow
-Made the skin a little soft
-Sticks to the skin and does not fall of after placing it on the cheeks
-Very relaxing and gives a cooling sensation

Cons of Purederm Vitalizing Orange Pads:

-Did not do anything great
-The liquid transforms to some kind of oil which I do not like
-The orange pads start to fall off after the skin absorbs the liquid
-All effects were temporary

Will I repurchase/recommend purederm vitalizing orange pads?

No I am not going to repurchase them as I am tired of trying such pads from purederm and they do not actually do anything and neither so I recommend them, however you may try it for fun purpose when you are bored. Rather I would suggest to use orange peel powder which is natural and effective.

Nair Hair Remover Sensitive Formula Gel Cream

Hello sweethearts,

Here is one more hair remover from my collection. I read a review about this brand on IMBB so I wanted to try this myself. I spotted this at the beauty shop and my Anne French kit that I bought was already over so I picked this one up to keep it to be on the safe side. Rather than getting those kits I decided to get a spray as I thought this would be more convenient.

Rs. 230 for 155 grams

Product description:

Nair hair remover sensitive formula is designed for smooth radiant skin. It is for legs, arms, underarms and bikini area. Not for use on the face.

Directions for use:

To apply gel cream

• Dispense gel cream into palm of hand. Smooth on a thick even layer to cover hair. Do not rub in. Wash your hands immediately after application.
• Leave the gel cream for 3 minutes, then check a small area for hair removal. Total hair removal depends on hair thickness. If the hair does not wipe off easily after 3 minutes, leave the gel cream on a few minutes longer. Do not exceed 10 minutes of application.
To remove gel cream and hair
• Gently wipe off the gel cream and hair with a damp washcloth. Do not rub. Once all hair has been removed, rinse skin thoroughly with lukewarm water in the shower.
• Wipe off excess product from the dispensing nozzle
• Replace the cap when not in use

My take on Nair hair remover sensitive formula gel cream:

I initially thought of trying something different from those hair remover creams that come in a tube. This hair remover gel cream comes in a spray bottle that is blue in colour and is very travel friendly and the cap also doesn’t come off the bottle so no worry of leakage at all. The whole lot of instructions are given behind the bottle so you know what exactly to do. You just open the cap there you get a dispensing nozzle. I thought that this would be very convenient to use but it was not. When you have a spatula you can spread the cream very evenly and in this case firstly when you press the dispenser, a lot of quantity comes out which might not even be needed for 1 underarm and this cannot be even evenly distributed with the fingers. It may happen that there is more cream on some part and less on some. Then you will have to ruin your fingers and as I have long nails it goes inside and sits there. Then immediately instructed to wash hands and then cleaning the nails.

The cream is thick is consistency and easy to spread on the hands. The smell is refreshing as well as connects to the spring essence they mention. It does not smell like those typical hair removal creams. I kept it on for like 6-7 minutes even if they said 3 minutes. And I washed off my hands and legs with a sponge. But what I could see is there were still some hair on my hands and legs which had not been removed effectively. Some of the hair has become twisted and curly because they just got half the reaction of hair removal. Like that I had to reapply the cream and a lot of product was wasted. My hands and legs felt smooth and not at all dry. They did look radiant but you know that hair on the legs are quite thick as compared to the hands. In this case, it left small black hair from the roots which look like the ingrown hair and you don’t actually get a clean waxed feeling because you can see those small hair peeping out and I couldn’t even wax them because they were very small. Overall I would that it is a good one as if kept for 10 minutes but if you remove it less than this time then you will not get the desired results but I can say I have used better products than this one.

Pros of Nair Hair Remover Sensitive Formula Gel Cream :

-Affordable for such a big bottle
-Did not cause irritation
-Did not make my skin dark
-Refreshing fresh smell
-Great for sensitive skin which will not cause rashes or bumps on the skin.
-Hair did not grow for 2-3 days, then it started growing later.

Cons of Nair Hair Remover Sensitive Formula Gel Cream :

-Nozzle gives out too much product.
-Availability.
-Fingers are to be ruined while applying this.
-Gets stuck inside my nails.
-Did not remove all the hair in 6-7 minutes even when it claimed just 3 minutes.
-Uneven distribution.
-Some hair were not at all removed and looked like ingrown hair.

Will I repurchase/recommend Nair Hair Remover Sensitive Formula Gel Cream?

No I don’t think so because there are many more products that are convenient to use like the Anne French kit that I reviewed and will not buy it again, I will just try finishing this up.

Outfit of the Day: Statement Necklace with Yellow Accessories

Hello sweeties,

I have one more outfit post for you guys. This one is not a very jazzy or colourful OOTD but I personally love this combination.

I wore these grey jeggings and thank god they have pockets because I always have a habit of putting my phone in my pocket and when I don’t carry a bag, I stuff in cash too. I wore a sleeveless black top with white embroidery which is very cute. And I added these yellow bag and flats just to give a pop of colours.

And the main thing in the entire look is the necklace, I haven’t seen such a gorgeous, stunning and a beautiful necklace in my life. It is a coppery bronze shade with all those huge and small diamonds and it belongs to my cousin but she is sweet enough to give me when I want it. And the earrings were simple diamond studs.

For makeup I used Maybelline bb cream, Covergirl compact in warm beige, Maybelline gel liner, LA colors blush and Avon strawberry lip balm.

I hope you guys liked this simple ootd of mine.

P.S : I have attached a pic of my nail art designs.. I professionally do it but on a very small basis. Recently I had an order for an exhibition so made this sample for that. Hope you liked this as well.

I was hunting for some travel friendly deos or perfumes since a long time. I have always had a collection of those small testers and some cute perfumes that we get when we travel in international flights. Obviously time passed by and travelling reduced because of studies and I was done with all those pretty small perfumes. And one day I spotted these cute travel friendly deos online from the brand Eva. I picked them up without thinking even for a second as I have read really good reviews about this brand.

My experience with Eva Mini Deo Spray-Pop, Fresh and Glee:

I am still a college goer and I carry a really big bag especially in monsoon to put in all my study stuff, make-up, umbrella etc and there is actually no space to put in a deo or something. And I cannot stay without spraying a deo or a perfume. I spray the perfume when I leave home but it starts to saturate and go away. So these three cuties are very helpful in that case. They come in a palm size cylindrical thin plastic bottle where we actually do not have to fear because it is not made of glass. I bought three variants as they are dirt cheap. They are super-easy to carry and they occupy a very small space in your purse, bag or even your pocket. They are really good for instant sprays because travelling the whole day gives a lot of perspiration. They come in with a nozzle which is very convenient to use. Now I will move on to the personalized reviews of the three variants I bought.

Eva mini deo fresh: This variant comes in a blue coloured bottle and actually denotes a fresh aqua feel. It has a powdery aqua fragrance which is actually quite refreshing. I think this variant can be used both by the males and females as it is not a typical feminine smell. This one has the highest staying power of like 3 hours. But later you can again spray it and no one will come to know that you are spraying it again because it soo tiny lol. I liked the smell of this one as I haven’t used any aqua smelling fragrances before.

Eva mini deo pop: Here comes our favourite colour. The pink variant is called pop and looks sooo cute when removed out to spray from the purse. I love storing pink stuff so was obvious to get this. The smell is a girly floral one and smells great. The fragrance is nothing extra-ordinary and you will feel like I have used the similar smelling products before but I am sure you wouldn’t have used a very handy one. It stays for 2 hours. Even if the smell does not last long, the body odour never comes out atleast not for me, it depends upon different people.

Eva mini deo glee: This variant comes in yellow coloured bottle and the fragrance is a woody kind of a smell. It does not last for two hours also. It starts going off after an hour. Personally I did not like this one but I have kept it as after being bored from the other two I will have to spray this for a change.

Overall these cuties are of great need and I loved the pink and the blue one equally. Yellow one was an okay one for me. But that totally depends on your taste.

Pros of Eva Mini Deo Spray-Pop, Fresh and Glee:

-Dirt cheap
-Available everywhere in stores and online as well
-Many options to go with
-Made of plastic so no fear of breakage
-The easiest thing to carry in your purse, bag, wallet or even pocket
-The fragrance is really great
-The staying power is 2-3 hours which great in 3o bucks
-Alcohol free

Cons of Eva Mini Deo Spray-Pop, Fresh and Glee:

-I wish the staying power was a little more, it would be okay if the improve that thing and increase the price.

Will I repurchase/recommend Eva deos?

Of course I strongly recommend them as I don’t think so I have got a better deal than this one ever and nor will any of you and plus we always need such small deos for our convenience. I am going to surely repurchase them leaving the yellow one.

Rating: 5/5 (although the smell is average and staying power is less but it still deserves a 5/5 because it gives so much in such a less price)

Boots Cucumber Skin Freshener

How are you all? My month is going great as all of my family members birthdays are coming up in august itself, so shopping a lot these days for them as well as for myself lol. So I have been purchasing a lot of stuff from boots and the pick for the day is from the same brand. I have not used many skin fresheners infact the only thing I have used it rose water. I spotted this cucumber skin freshener and saw that there was a buy 1 get 1 free deal, so I could get 2 at one’s price, so I immediately bought this. I had clicked the pics earlier when I got it but now I am done fully with one bottle and going to share my experience now.

Price: Rs 140 for 15 ml (I got two at this price)

What the company claims about boots cucumber skin freshener?

Boots Cucumber skin freshener contains extract of cucumber to help refresh the skin. It removes excess oils and impurities leaving your skin toned and fresh.

My experience with Boots Cucumber Skin Freshener

As you all ladies know we are impulse buyers and when we spot something for free we don’t even think for a second and immediately purchase it. I bought it like that too. The freshener comes in a palm sized fat cylindrical bottle which is light green in colour and made up of plastic and the cap is a flip open one in dark green colour. The colour looks quite eco-friendly and actually gives a feel of cucumber. The bottle is convenient to carry if you have a big bag but for my convenience I have transferred it to a spray bottle so that you don’t really need a cotton pad, you can directly spray it on the face when tired and you are done.

The freshener is like water and has a little hint of green colour and that shade can only be seen when you apply it with a cotton pad. Talking about the product, it will not help with your acne or anything and not even blemishes, it will just help you feel fresh. The moment I apply it the cooling sensation of cucumber relaxes and refreshes the skin to the utmost level. I normally tend to spray it in the morning as well when I get up to study because that really wakes me up and I am all refreshed. I keep the spray bottle in the fridge so that it is super chilled. It does not sting or dry out the skin and can be used to remove dirt and oil, impurities, light make-up and also could be used as a toner or simply a freshener.

The skin feels a little radiant but nothing extraordinary on that part. I also apply it at times to the eyes to relax them when they are tired and sometimes when I get bored to get cucumber slices, I take 2 cotton pads and apply this on it and sit back and relax. The tired eyes get absolutely relaxed, I cannot really comment on dark circles, but it will act as a catalyst to your under eye-cream for dark circles, will help make them go faster. Overall I am a lover of cucumber stuff and I liked this too, it really does a good job as a skin freshener and makes the skin look even toned.

Pros of Boots Cucumber Skin Freshener:

-Got a great deal of buy 1 get 1 free
-When chilled gives a lot more refreshing feeling
-Freshens up the skin and the skin looks a little radiant
-Does not sting on the skin or make it dry
-Could be used as a freshener, toner and also to remove light make-up and dirt
-Available online as well as in some selected stores
-Suitable for all skin types
-Could be used with cotton pads to relax the eyes

Cons of Boots Cucumber Skin Freshener:

-Contains alcohol
-Does nothing else other than refreshing

Will I repurchase/ recommend boots cucumber skin freshener?

I am not sure of repurchasing it as I will want to try a cucumber freshener from some other brand but yes I will recommend it to try once as it does a good job to refresh dull and tired skin and does not even sting to the eyes.

How to Make Tie-up Flip-Flops: DIY

I haven’t done a diy post in a while, so here I am with one. I has clicked the pictures long back but somehow forgot to send it. No one would like to wear the same flip flops everyday, so here is a diy which will help you to wear different colors and styles everyday. Let’s directly go on to the materials that are needed to make these cute tie-up flats.

Things you need:

• Your flats with a thin strap
• A fabric atleast 90 centimetres long vertically and the breadth can be small around 15 centimetres
• A sharp scissor to cut the fabric

Step 1: Take the fabric which is thin according to your choice, I took the animal print one as I love such prints. You can easily make out the size in the picture. Cut the fabric into 2 equal parts to be used for each flip flop.

Step 2: You have 2 equal pieces of fabric now. You can stitch the edges or give it to your tailor for stitching it so that it looks neat. I did not do it and observed that some threads were coming out, although that is not mandatory. And fold it again to easily wrap it thickly around the straps of the flats.

Step 3: Now first take one of your flip flop and one piece of fabric and fold it into half so you get the exact middle point as you will have to wrap both the straps so you will have to partition it.

Step 4: Now you have divided the fabric, fold it like that and pass it from below the straps like in the picture. And you will get two straps hanging on the right side, hold them together and pass them from the circle at the left, so that you get a knot. The pictures will make you understand better.

Step 5: Now you have a knot at the centre of the two straps and you have two portions of the fabric for right strap and left strap respectively.

Step 6: Now start rolling the fabric on the strap by passing and wrapping it below and above the flip flop. Keep on doing it till to reach the end. Now repeat the entire process on the other flip flop as well.

Step 7: Now the wrapping of the fabric part is done and now the fabric will be left on both the sides, just pull those fabric straps from your heels and roll them on your leg and tie a knot. And ladies you are done..!!

Final look: You can see how cute they look and you can leave the fabric straps open or tie them up completely, that depends on the way you like it to be. You can also add some flower or bling to create a cute blingy and a more trendy look. And the best part is you can take any fabric that you love in order to match your outfit. Just be careful that you don’t tie them too tight because that will hinder your blood circulation. I love them because it gives an amazing grip while walking, you will feel the grip after you tie them.

Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color – Moods in Maroon Review

My review for today is a pick from my mom’s closet. I was doing some random shopping online and me and my mom had a fight. So, just to make her talk to me I told her that there is a great offer going on online and she should buy something for her. Actually, there was no offer but I just wanted her to talk to me, so that is how I ordered this lipstick. Mom loves browns, purples and maroons and me totally opposite, but I applied this twice and the review is a combined opinion from me and my mom.

My Experience with Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color – Moods in Maroon:

So, mom decided that she wanted a maroon lip color and there were several shades in maroon and they did not really had a major difference, but as you know, we couldn’t try anything online, and this had “maroon” in its name, so ordered this one. The lipstick comes in a simple packaging in black and silver and a small transparent base shows off the colour of the lipstick. The twisty thing of the lipstick is also pretty fine at such a low price. The shade appears to be really gorgeous and we were really happy that it was actually maroon because many a times the shades differ than what shown when we get stuff online. It is a perfect maroon colour and looks very attractive in the bullet as well as when applied. It has small golden shimmer particles but they cannot be really seen when the lipstick is applied. The smell is not that appealing, it is like the typical lipstick smell which you all know. When I started gliding it on, it did not and I had to apply a lot of force because it is not creamy at all. It is super-drying, although a base of lip balm would do something better. I took really long to apply this one and felt like I was colouring in some drawing book. The actual colour does not appear in one swipe, it needs to be swiped at least thrice for the stunning shade to show up.

After application, it did look awesome, although I am not fond of such colours. It made my face look so damn fair that I cannot imagine. I wore it during the day-time with my white shirt and it did look amazing. It can also be worn at the night time. As it is not creamy, the staying power is great. It stayed for like 6 hours and did transfer to the glass while sipping water. The colour is greatly pigmented, but when it starts to fade, the shimmer starts showing up and I don’t like that. Just shimmer on lips with faded maroon shade looks so cheap. Overall, it has great pigmentation and the colour is super rich along with the staying power, but the only con is extreme dryness.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color – Moods in Maroon?

I don’t like such shades but loved this one, so you guys can apply a lip balm beneath and try this shade out. It looks gorgeous and the lasting power is great too. I don’t think so me or mom will repurchase this one, rather we will try finding a similar shade from a better brand.

Tip and Toes Essentials Deep Pre Cleansing Milk

How are you all doing? My pick for today is cleansing milk from Tip and Toes. I bought it along with my Tip and Toes blemish lotion. I have never seen these around in the shops but the only way to get it is online shopping. So I bought it that way. Cleansing milk is a thing that I always want to have with me. I use either the facial wipes or cleansing milk to remove makeup, so cannot really survive without them.

Price: Rs 65 for 65 ml

Product description: Enriched with natural mango butter, this is a gentle formula for deep pore cleansing. It penetrates deep into the skin and removes dirt and make-up residue thoroughly. It prevents dryness and leaves your skin soft, smooth, refreshed and glowing.

My experience with Tip and Toes Essentials Deep Pre Cleansing Milk:

So as I said I bought this along with a lotion from the same brand. I was using Himalaya refreshing cleansing milk earlier but I had a problem while removing my eye make-up, it made my eyes sting a lot. So I tried this one.

The cleansing milk comes in purplish brown shiny bottle. It has a flip cap which isn’t too tight and opens up easily. It has a small hole in the middle which makes the needed quantity come out. The cleansing milk is white in colour and the consistency is not too runny. The fragrance is kind of similar for all the products they make. The fragrance is pretty okay and if used one or two days, it is pretty good but I used it for a month so got really irritated with the smell as it is not that mild. It smells like ‘paan’.

The cleansing milk spreads easily on the face and I massage it for a minute in circular motions and then wipe the entire face with a cotton pad. The milk does not sting my skin at all and takes off all the make-up and the dirt easily without rubbing the face. It does not make the skin dry or greasy after washing the face. The milk actually made my face very clean and I felt refreshed. It effectively gets rid of all the liner residue, even from under the eye area, something which was difficult to get rid of when I used to clean my face with the Himalaya one, it left residues of my gel liner which actually increased the dark circles. When I wiped my eyes with it, I did not felt any irritation but all of a sudden after 5 minutes my eyes became red and itchy. It came back to the normal stage after 5 minutes but then I stopped using it for my eyes and used it only for the face. They have mentioned day and night use, I mean what does cleansing milk have to do with day and night, I did not get that point. Overall it is a nice product that made my skin feel fresh but I am not happy for what it did to my eyes.

Pros of Tip and Toes Essentials Deep Pre Cleansing Milk:

-Cheap
-Small handy bottle easy to carry
-Convenient and cute packaging
-Cleans the pores upto a certain extent
-Did not sting my skin
-Cleans all the make-up very well without rubbing the skin
-The skin feels refreshed and a little soft

Cons of Tip and Toes Essentials Deep Pre Cleansing Milk:

-Smell starts to irritate after continuous use
-Eyes became red after cleaning the eye make-up

Will I repurchase/ recommend it?

Yes I may but currently I already have two cleansing milk so will finish them up and then think about this one. I will recommend this just for the skin as it cleans the face effectively but not at all to be used for the eyes.

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relieving Body Wash-Eucalyptus Spearmint

I am really fond of buying stuff from Bath and Body Works and Victoria’s Secret but there are obviously limited products available from these two brands but of-course I am satisfied with whatever I get, I always get a cute girly feeling when I get stuff from these two brands. So I picked this particular shower gel on my visit to Dubai. Obviously this isn’t that girly but they did not have a travel size in those girly products so had to pick this. As I knew I was supposed to stay in the hotel for a week so I picked this up to use it at that time.

Price: $5 for 59 ml

My take on Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relieving Body Wash-Eucalyptus Spearmint:

So as I said I got this to use it during my one week stay at Dubai, but unfortunately I did not use it up because I forgot to put it in my washroom and continued using my old one. I have started using it now during night. When I entered the BBW store at Dubai mall I was so restless and I wanted to pick up everything. This particular range had soo many products ranging from boy bar, bath soak, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, scrubs etc. I got a travel size and there was a larger variant too.

The body wash comes in a small plastic transparent bottle with a black cap and is super convenient to carry and perfect for a week’s use. It is not runny and comes in a golden yellow colour. I am using it up as my night time bodywash as we are really stressed at the end of the day and obviously our tired body needs something great. When I opened it for the very first time it smelled really strong with a blend eucalyptus and spearmint actually. I planned not to buy it because it smelled damn strong but when I smelled it a few more times I liked it as it has a pretty refreshing fragrance. Also it had many extracts like green tea, cucumber, papaya fruit etc. It works wonders when combined with a loofah and hot water. I feel soo relaxed after using it and it actually helps to relieve stress and acts as a catalyst for sleep.

It leaves a nice fragrance in my washroom for quite a long time. I have always complained that none of my shower gels give long lasting smell but this one did but the fact was that I did not wanted to smell like eucalyptus the entire day so that’s why this was kept for night. A pea sized amount is needed for one time use so this bottle would last much more than I expected. Overall I would suggest everyone to try atleast one product from this range as it lives upto the claims.

Pros of Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relieving Body Wash-Eucalyptus Spearmint:

-Affordable and nicely priced as it is an expensive brand
-A pea sized amount is needed at a time so would last pretty long
-Travel sizes available
-Super convenient to carry

-Strong smell with a blend of eucalyptus and spearmint which is very refreshing
-It actually relieves stress and you don’t feel tired after using this one

Cons of Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relieving Body Wash-Eucalyptus Spearmint:

-Availability is a problem for Indian buyers
-The smell is long lasting but I don’t wanna smell eucalyptus the entire day( will not be a con for everyone)
-Will smell really strong for the very first time you smell it

Will I repurchase/ recommend it?

Yes if I spot it somewhere in India I am surely going to pick it up and I do recommend it as you need this for relieving all you day’s stress.

Outfit of the Day: Parrot Green Anarkali Dress

Hello sweeties,

How are you all doing? Half of you must be enjoying the rains and half getting sick during the rains.  I recently visited Gujarat for my cousin brother’s engagement and enjoyed the royal functions there.  So, my dress obviously had to be great too.  I am going to share that particular outfit with you all today.

I wore a parrot green net anarkali with royal blue jamevari yoke.  At the bottom and at the end of the sleeves, there was gorgeous golden work done on orange and blue strips.  I chose this dress because it totally compliments the slim figure I have (that’s what my mom says, I am not praising myself ).  The dupatta and churidaar were royal blue in colour, but the churidaar was merely visible. As the dress was heavy, I wore a delicate gold and diamond set and a diamond ring.

I again wore golden heels to match the look and did French manicure on my nails to give a proper finish to my outfit and left my hair open as it was blow dried.

For make-up, I have used, Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, Maybelline BB Cream, Covergirl Warm Beige Compact, LA Colors Mineral Blush in Natural, Maybelline Gel Liner, Avon Supershock Mascara, and Streetwear Colour Rich Lip Colour in Pink Pie.

P.S: I have also attached a picture of my mom with me, the sweetest person I have ever met.  Hope you guys like this 3rd traditional outfit post of mine, thank you for giving your precious time and thank you also for all the love that women show here on IMBB.

My craze towards lippies is increasing day by day and after watching reviews everyday I am tempted even more. I bought a few new one and have some oldies as well which I have started putting to use. The most amazing thing happened, I visited their website to see whether these lipsticks are still into existence and yes they are. And guess what I saw, this particular lipstick range had 79 shades. This is like unbelievable. I have never seen one range having such a wide variety of shades to pick from. So I think each and every person will get the lipsticks of their choice. I picked it up randomly when I went to Dubai because it was just One and a half dollar which is like dirt cheap. Read to know further.

How to apply Jordana lipstick:

Begin applying from the centre of your upper lips and work your way to the outer edges. Same application is used for your bottom lips.

Tip: To extend the wear of your lipstick, outline your natural lip line with a coordinating Jordana Lip Liner and fill in your lips before applying color.

My take on Jordana Lipstick- 172 Toasty Taupe:

I own 3 lipsticks from this range. I did not get a wide selection at that time but I am going to order some more online as well. The packaging is not that happening, it looks a bit cheap with that transparent plastic packaging. When you remove out the plastic case it looks a little better in silver and black fonts on it. But have to say, even though it looks cheap the plastic cap does not break at all unlike some lipsticks which are expensive and still break. The lipstick is a nice peachy brown shade and has a pearl and a metallic kind of a finish to it. It is a little frosty. The shade brightens up the face instantly and looks gorgeous at both the night and day time. Actually it looks more stunning during the day-time as in bright sunlight your lips are highly noticeable.

The fragrance is good, smells a little like those cheap lipsticks but 20% better than that. It is not really bothering and once you have the lipstick on the smell will vanish away which is good for us. It has small pink particles of shimmers but are not that noticeable when applied to the lips. The lipstick isn’t creamy at all. Infact it is a little drying when you apply but adjusts well after application. A lip balm over it will do the work. The colour comes up in one swipe only but 2-3 swipes make it look finished and great. The lipstick lasts on till 3 to 3 and a half hour with light snacks. Later on it starts to fade and the thing that I dislike is the shimmers start to show up but I just wash my lips so that the shimmers go away. Overall, the lipsticks are rocking considering the price they come at.

Pros of Jordana Lipstick- 172 Toasty Taupe:

-Cheap
-79 shades to select from
-The pigmentation is great
-Available in India as well at jordana counters
-The plastic of the lipstick does not break even if dropped a lot many times
-Brightens up the face instantly
-Lasts for 3 to 3 and a half hours which is great at this price
-Shows up the colour fully in 2-3 swipes

Cons of Jordana Lipstick- 172 Toasty Taupe:

-Shimmers start showing up after lipstick fades
-Not creamy and does not glide that smoothly
-A bit drying

Will I repurchase/ recommend Jordana Lipstick- 172 Toasty Taupe?

I won’t buy the same shade again and who else would because there are 79 shades available. Obviously I would love to pick 2 or 3 shades more. And yes I do recommend them as the price it is great and everyone can find one or the other shade of their choice.

Maybelline Water Shine Liquid Diamond Slims Lip Gloss- Caramel Cream

Earlier when I used to buy glosses and lippies, I used to pick up really light shades such as baby pink or nudes. Those are the only shades that I used to apply but since last year and especially after joining IMBB I have almost all the shades possible. Today’s review is of a lip gloss from my older collection.

My take on Maybelline Water Shine Liquid Diamond Slims Lip Gloss- Caramel Cream:

This one is a pretty nude shade which is very glossy and actually gives you dazzling lips. I wanted to buy a shade that I can use almost everyday because I was bored of a lip balm. There were some more shades but this was pretty enough for daily use. It is a nice creamy gloss with a hint of brown shade and shimmers in it. It looks good for daily wear but I do a lot of eye make-up so looks a bit too much at times, but I found out that it looks more beautiful during the night time. It dazzles and sparkles at night which makes it noticeable.

It comes in a small cylindrical bottle with silver cap, and is the size of a finger which is super easy to carry and fits nicely in the bag pocket without any mess. The packaging is really cute. The wand inside is also very soft and is a bit slanted so very convenient to use as well. It glides on smoothly on the lips and the shade comes out in the first swipe itself. But I swipe it 2-3 times for the shade to set evenly on my lips. It does not settle in the fine lines on the lips but does get transferred to the glass whenever you sip water and if you have a meal then it will go off completely, only the shimmers will be left on your skin. The shimmers are there but not that recognizable and does not look cheap at all. The gloss stays on for 2 and a half to 3 hours on the lips and nothing more than that. But most of the glosses stay for this much time only so not a big deal.

It can also be used on top of your peach or brown lip shades to enhance the shade as well as provide a glossy shine. It is not that sticky and thick but lips start feeling weird after it starts to vanish away. Overall these are from a reputed company so you can expect a very good quality infact full satisfaction at this price. I picked up this shade but there are lot many shades available to match every outfit of yours.

-Easily available

-A very good quality product
-Shimmers in it do not look cheap
-Gives a nice dazzling shine so we can rock the glossy lips
-Does not feel heavy or sticky
-The wand is soft and glides on smoothly onto the lips
-The bottle is tiny like the size of our finger so very easy to carry

Cons of Maybelline Water Shine Liquid Diamond Slims Lip Gloss- Caramel Cream:

-Lasts for a less time of 2 and a half to 3 hours
-Transfers to the glass while sipping water
-Shimmers left after the gloss goes away and completely goes off if you have snacks or a meal

Will I repurchase/recommend Maybelline Water Shine Liquid Diamond Slims Lip Gloss- Caramel Cream?

No instead I’ll buy the other shades from this range and I do recommend these as they are nice and cute small handy glosses good for daily use and also for party –time. I found these very similar to L’Oreal glam shine glosses as I have a similar nude shade from L’Oreal too ,the only difference was the staying power and the price, so if you are looking for an alternative then this is good.

I posted a DIY called the intensive hand and nail spa at home and that was pretty time consuming and you had to put in a lot of efforts as I mentioned but don’t worry guys I have got a perfect and ready-made alternative for you. This is a unique kind of a product that I have tried and this was the first time. Neither have I used anything like or nor have I seen it anywhere. My experience with Purederm Daily Moisturising Oatmeal Hand Mask:

I was just browsing through the online stores and saw this unique kind of a product. It said newly designed glove-type mask and I hadn’t tried anything like this so was pretty excited to see what it really was and how did it work. The mask comes in a packet and this is big than those purederm masks that we use. The pack of the mask is pretty sleek so you can carry it along wherever you want, not a big deal. The pack has a small area at the top from where you can tear the packet easily, no need of a scissor. It is made up of oatmeal which is actually very good for dull and dry skin. The moment I opened up the packet, a very refreshing flowery smell came out of it. The smell was out of the world. It was a blend of mogras and jasmines which makes us feel that we are doing some very expensive treatment. There were two gloves made up of white plastic and they had written that distinguish between left and right or else the product will not be effective, but both of them looked the same and not difference at all.

So I was like let it be I’ll wear it wherever I want. There was a small seal from where we put the gloves and we have to cut that seal. Inside it there was a thick moisturising lotion and that was the reason they had given the seal. I wore the gloves and they got stuck to my skin as it had a cream inside but the gloves are a universal size so were like quite huge for me and that caused wrinkles but never mind. The middle portion did not stick to my palms as they were quite big. I relaxed for half an hour and the gloves were still stuck onto my hands and I actually could feel the moisturisation. And the time was up so I removed them and threw them away and the result was just amazing and terrific. I mean I could see a vast difference in my hands. My hands looked pretty dull and dry before and the mask had completely transformed that look. My hands looked like a new born baby’s and were so soft and supple and for an hour I was continuously touching them lol. They looked so clean bright and for the very first time my hands looked brighter than my face skin and I was like wow, that’s great! They mentioned that no need to wash hands after but I had to because the cream did not go away and I wanted to operate my phone. After washing, upto like 3 hours a faint smell of those flowers was left on my skin. And it made my nails also clean and bright as my nails had become dull. Overall it is an excellent alternative for a hand spa and you actually do not have to do anything , just sit back and relax and the gloves will do everything for you.

-Made up of oatmeal which is very good for the skin
-Amazing smell of flowers which was a blend of mogras and jasmines
-The smell lasted on my hands for 3 hours after using it
-Hands looked like a new born baby, very soft and supple indeed
-They looked really bright and were extremely moisturised
-The gloves also benefited my nails and made them look clean and healthy
-Perfect treatment for a hand spa

Cons of Purederm Daily Moisturising Oatmeal Hand Mask:

-Gloves were too big a size for me.
-They said to differentiate between left and right but there was actually no clue or difference.
-They said that no need to wash hands after removing the gloves but I had to, because it was sticky.

Will I repurchase/recommend Purederm Daily Moisturising Oatmeal Hand Mask?
