Garnier Fructis Split Ends Bandage Serum Review

Hello sweethearts,

I am badly waiting for Christmas because I love how colourful the malls and the stores are and there is an area near my place full of Catholics, so the entire area is decorated with cute candy canes, light bulbs, Christmas trees and amazing gifts. Coming to today’s product, it is a serum from Garnier Fructis and I think it belongs to the “Goodbye Damage” range looking at the packaging, but there is nothing mentioned.  The reason why I got attracted to this product was the “split ends bandage.” I check out such products because I get bad split ends due to heating tools. Let’s see how it worked for me.

My Take on Garnier Fructis Split Ends Bandage Serum:

I have used the entire Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage range, but I got it long ago, so I have finished the shampoo and conditioner and the only thing left is the oil, so I finally got this and completed the range.  This serum comes in a super-cute bright orange bottle and it is a transparent one with a pump dispenser. I think the packaging is so attractive that it would make any girl buy this product. The outer box also has a cute bandage type of thing at the top which says, “don’t cut split-ends, seal them.” How attractive is that? They get full marks for packaging and being small in size, its also travel friendly and I think there is only a single size available.

This is specially designed for damaged hair and also for hair which is super dry and dull. The serum is transparent and only a little amount is needed to work out on the entire hair shaft and the ends as well.  The consistency is runny, but it does not make my hair greasy or oily. It can be applied to dry and wet hair also, but I prefer applying it to wet hair because it gives me more softness and smoothness. The frizz in the hair is controlled for up to 8 hours and then re-application is needed.  It has an amazing citrus fragrance, like a blend of oranges and apricots and is heavenly when you press the pump and lingers for a while too.

As soon as I apply it on, my hair feels very soft and it de-tangles hair completely, but I do not comb through my hair because it is never advisable because hair tends to break more when its wet.  As the hair starts drying up, they feel very soft and smooth and I don’t notice any frizz or damaged hair. It helps my hair to look better. The visibility of the split-ends was much reduced and the ends looked healthy after continuous use, but I do not know if it seals them, but yes, I think it was effective as I could not notice much split ends. So overall, it is a great hair serum whether you have damaged hair or not.

Pros of Garnier Fructis Split Ends Bandage Serum:

• Comes with a pump dispenser and only one pump is needed for medium length hair.  Transparent bottle, so you know how much product is getting used up.
• The serum smells heavenly with a fresh citrusy fragrance, like that of oranges and apricots.
• The quantity will last for 4 months even with every day use because only a small amount is needed.
• Can be used on dry as well as wet hair, does not make hair greasy.
• Controls frizz for up to 8 hours.
• Makes hair smooth and shiny.
• Detangles hair.
• Does not seal split ends to a great extent, but the split ends were not that visible, so I think it improved the overall appearance.

Cons of Garnier Fructis Split Ends Bandage Serum:

• Limited availability in India.
• Re-application is needed after a period of 7-8 hours.
• The instructions should be written out in English, I do not know what language it is written in.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Garnier Fructis Split Ends Bandage Serum?

Yes, it is a very good serum and I would say it worked somewhat like the Matrix Biolage Serum, but it does extra work for damaged hair, so I surely recommend it because its a good serum.  If I spot it again, it is going to be in my closet

All of you might be attracted to these very cute and girly looking babies. I think this lip balm is like any other balms only but their USP is this cute little packaging in a round shape which makes them so adorable that every girl wants to try these out. Finally I got to lay my hands on them and I was super happy to try them out. When I read the description I finally came to know that their full form is “Evolution of smooth”, I was not aware of it and I think many of you also agree with me. I have got a huge collection of lip balms which has increased over time. Let’s see how this cutie worked for me.

My take on EOS Lip Balm Sphere in Pomegranate Raspberry:

This is the first product that I am trying from EOS. I got a lip balm as of now but I am also eager to try their body lotions too. The thing that I love about them is their shape. The lip balms are available in spheres and normal sticks too. I got the one in pomegranate raspberry because this flavour looked the most attractive out of all the 8 flavours. This lip balm is one of the collector’s item to have due to its uniqueness. The lip balm comes in my favourite colour hot pink spherical packaging. I love all the shades of pink so even that was a reason why I picked this one. The material which they have used for the packaging is also not a normal plastic, the material looks pretty good quality wise. It has a nice base as well so it stands wherever you place it. The shape is small in size and is pretty handy too.

As you open it up you will see cream coloured lip balm which is shaped like an egg. As soon as you open it up, you can sniff the mild fruity fragrance of berries. The consistency is a bit thick as compared to the other lip balms but it does glide well on my lips. The fragrance lingers on the lips for a while but the most amazing thing is the taste. My god it smells very sweet like some candy and I love licking my lips when I apply it. The taste is better than the fragrance according to me. I don’t think it has SPF but at times it is fine. It lasts for about 2 hours on the lips without a meal and keeps my lips hydrated and moisturised till the time it is on and it does help to heal mildly chapped lips but not the extreme ones. But even after the lip balm vanishes away, the lips will be soft and smooth all day. I pretty much liked these but would not put them as the best one in my collection as I have better ones.

Pros of EOS Lip Balm Sphere in Pomegranate Raspberry:

-Looks so damn cute with this attractive spherical shape and gorgeous pink shade
-95% organic that is what the company claims
-Easy to carry due to its size
-Very unique and totally different from the other lip balms
-Keeps my lips very moisturised
-Will help to heal mildly chapped lips
-The fragrance is a sweet one smelling very fruity but the taste is even sweeter like berries and I always end up licking it
-Great one for the price
-It does not feel any waxy or heavy on the lips at all

Cons of EOS Lip Balm Sphere in Pomegranate Raspberry:

-I don’t think it has SPF
-I think the consistency is a bit harder than the other lip balms due to its shape
-I wish it had a little tint

Will I repurchase/recommend EOS Lip Balm Sphere in Pomegranate Raspberry:?

Yes I do recommend trying them out atleast once because they are so raved about. Scoring good quality wise I would like to try the other flavours too, but I wish they add a bit tint in them.

I am here with one of the most favourite and raved product of many beauty gurus. I keep on watching their videos and I think each of them have talked about this product in some or the other video. I was super happy to get this one because I do not really take spa treatments in the salon so these kind of cute tubs are needed for deep treatment every week. Neutrogena is a brand that has created amazing skin care products and I love them so I had actually started to trust this one even before using it. Read on to know how it worked for my thin, damaged and frizzy-ended hair.

My take on Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask:

I like doing spa treatments or say deep conditioning every week at home. I am using it since like 2 weeks so precisely I must have used it 5 times. The mask comes in a peach coloured tub which looks pretty attractive with an orange lid and orange fonts. The tub is not transparent so basically you cannot make out how much product is used but apparently you can open it and see. The instructions are mentioned over it in a lovely manner and because the tub is so big in size it is not travel friendly but the benefit is that you get so much quantity at such an affordable price. I think the stuff is amazing for the price and can be used along with the entire range.

It contains 3 main ingredients olive, sweet almond and meadow-foam seed. The mask itself is light peach coloured paste and has cute glitter particles in the paste in orange and golden, not highly visible but if observed closely you will be able to see them. The fragrance is just wonderful like peaches and cherries. The paste is pretty thick and has creamy consistency, you do not need much product just a coin sized amount is needed and I love how a little amount glides smoothly all over the hair.

After shampooing I applied it on my wet hair and kept it for like 5 minutes and I would advise people to keep it for that much time only. As soon as it was applied, it started to detangle my hair and my hair felt very smooth. Then while rinsing the treatment off, my hair felt velvety soft and there was not even a single tangle in my hair trust me. I did not use a serum but when I blow-dried my hair, my ends became frizzy because there are already frizzy and I was adding on more heat so the effect of the treatment has totally gone. However, I noticed that my ends did not become frizzy when my hair dried naturally; so I never blow dry it now when I use this one. My hair became immensely smooth and soft. It does repair the damaged part of the hair and enrich the health of my hair in just 5 uses and I expect my hair to improve a lot after constant use. Concluding I would say that I loved this product and I want more and more tubs of this because it absolutely did what I wanted from it and such a deep treatment every week is of great benefit to the hair.

Pros of Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask:

-A great and an attractive looking packaging
-A huge tub so the quantity is amazing
-The product will last for atleast 6 months because it is a weekly treatment but I use it twice
-A very small precisely a coin sized amount is needed for the hair
-The consistency is thick and creamy so spreads on the hair in just one go
-The moment you apply it, it starts making the hair tangle free and silky

-A perfect treatment for dry and damaged hair
-It has a heavenly fragrance resembling peaches and cherries
-Contains natural ingredients like olive, sweet almonds etc
-Makes the hair amazingly smooth and soft and removes all the tangles
-You can see how healthy your hair will look after certain uses
-Repairs the damage to a good extent and controls the frizz too

Cons of Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask:

-The ends tend to become frizzy if you blow dry your hair because this baby is trying to repair your damage and you are damaging your hair more (This will only happen if you have frizzy ends)
-Not travel-friendly
-Not available in India and if it is then at a very high price which will not be worth it
-Cannot be used on dry hair so can be used only after shampooing

Will I repurchase/ recommend it?

Yes I will buy it for sure or will tell my relatives to get it from abroad as it is far more cheaper there and it did a great job for my hair and made them look so healthy in just 5 uses and it smells amazing that’s the best part. Yes I do recommend it to all the ladies whether your hair are damaged or not; it will work as a great deep conditioner.

I always have some packets of make-up removal or facial wipes in my cupboard because I have to wipe my face everyday to remove make-up so that all the residue of make-up is gone. I got these cute looking wipes from Olay, I want to try the whole range but don’t know when I will get a chance. So let’s move on to the review.

My experience with Olay Fresh Effects Refreshing Make-Up Removal Cloths:

Make-up removal wipe are a very essential part of our lives and I think almost each and every woman needs atleast a packet of such product with her. I have used many such wipes and so far Kara wipes are my favourite but I think I have got one opponent that will give kara wipes a tough competition. I got these make-up removal wipes from the Olay fresh effects range. The packet contains 20 wipes which is a bit higher in comparison to other wipes but still not bad. The packet is white in colour and has a cute design in green and blue and the packaging is pretty fresh like the name itself. They are easy to carry and have a seal which can be opened and closed as per the needs.

The wipes are pretty big and white in colour with a different texture (compared to others) but still are very smooth and soft on the skin. The fragrance is nice and mild and lingers around till the time you are using the wipe. The wipes are very moist and wet as compared to the other wipes that I have used so far and the moistness totally helps to remove all the make-up effectively. Though it is very effective in getting rid of face makeup ( foundation, blushes etc) yet removing eye make-up with it takes a little time. The gel liner will take more time to be removed and the wipes have to be swiped like 3-4 times to remove the gel liner. It stings a bit in my eyes but I do not know will that be the same with everyone or not. The skin looks very even-tones and clean after using these and there is no need to wash the face too. The texture of the skin feels very soft and smooth after using these and the skin remains the same all day. Use them as make-up removal wipes or facial wipes just to remove the dirt, but surely do get them and try them!

-They remove the make-up and all the dirt very effectively
-Makes the face look even-toned and very clean after using this
-The skin feels very smooth and smooth all day
-The fragrance is a mild perfumed floral one and is very soothing to the nose

-It stings a little when I used it to remove my eye make-up

Yes of-course I will buy them again if I get a chance to buy these then I would love to try out the entire range of the Olay fresh effects and all of you should really try these because they have a very nice fragrance plus they remove all the make-up and clean the face effectively as well and revives the senses too.

Rimmel 9-in-1 BB Cream

I finally saw Dhoom 3 today and quite enjoyed all the suspense in the movie but it was purely an Aamir-based movie and hats off to him for acting in such a marvelous way at this age and I enjoyed roaming in the mall too. Coming to today’s product it is a BB cream from Rimmel. I keep on trying BB creams and after getting done with my Maybelline one I got this one because it claimed to be a 9-in-1 BB cream and Rimmel offers great products too. So let’s see how this fared.

What Rimmel claims about Rimmel 9-in-1 BB cream:

BB Cream with SPF 25 is skin perfecting super makeup, developed specifically for women who prefer not wear foundation. Better than a moisturizer, better than a foundation. Creates the perfect 9-part regimen in one easy step: Primes, Moisturizes, Minimizes Pores, Conceals, Covers, Smoothes, Mattifies, Brightens and helps Protect. You have to live it to believe it! It¿s foundation reinvented! Dermatologist tested.

How I liked the Rimmel 9-in-1 BB cream:

Being a college goer, I am very fond of using BB creams and only six months left for my graduation so I really want to dress up as a cute college going girl as these days will never be back. After using Maybelline BB cream a lot many times, I tried the Konadniju girl Bb cream and next this one. I picked it up because of the claim 9-in-1. The packaging is pretty cute in skin colour along with a dark blue cap and many of the instructions are given at the front and at the back too. The BB cream was available in 3 shades and I picked the 1st shade that was for fair skin. It is a small tube so it is super easy to carry and it does not at any point cause a leakage and the opening has a very small hole which makes the required product come out. This contains SPF 25 too and that is a very good content so I don’t think there would be a need to use a sunscreen separately. Thee consistency is a bit thick when you squeeze it out initially but then when you actually apply it it glides very smoothly on the skin and there was no need to apply a moisturiser before this one. A very small precisely a pea sized amount is needed to cover the entire face and the neck. It instantly brightens up my face and gives a very healthy glow and just transforms my dull skin into healthy and fair skin. It conceals very nicely the imperfections but not as good as a real concealer but I use it under my eyes too and the dark circles just seem to vanish and the under eye area seems very fresh and bright. It makes the pores look minimised and apply it yourself and you will totally see the transition. The BB cream lasts for about 2 and a half hours to 3 hours and then starts to fade but the glow is still there on my face and it does not look dark and dull at all. So far I am loving this BB cream and this will always be in the consideration set when I go forward to buy a new BB cream.

-Easily available online and affordable too as compared to the quantity they offer.
-Available in 3 shades to choose from.
-Cute packaging and convenient to use and carry as well.
-A very good size of hole for the required small amount to come out.
-A pea sized amount is required to cover the neck and the face.
-It did not make my skin dry or cakey.
-The pores look minimised every time I apply it.
-It is good on covering the imperfections but would not work exactly as a concealer but conceals to a good extent.
-It gives a very healthy glow and the skin suddenly starts looking much healthy and bright.
-Covers my dark circles to a good extent and brightens up the tired under eye area too.
-Contains SPF 25.
-Stays up till 3 hours and then starts to face but will last a little longer if topped up with a translucent powder.

Cons of Rimmel 9-in-1 BB Cream:

-Don’t know if they are available in stores or not.
-A little expensive if compared to the other BB creams.

Will I repurchase/recommend Rimmel 9-in-1 BB cream?

Yes for sure as this is one of the best BB creams that I have ever used and I loved how it made my face look so healthy and 9-in-1 too; I don’t think any BB cream offers so many benefits in one and surely try this one if you are fond of using BB creams.

My Experience with Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Daily Wash:

Okay, so the moment I saw this, I knew I had to get it.  I wanted the other products from this range too, but the store had only this one. We all know how good and effective Neutrogena face washes are.  The main reason to get this is the pump dispenser; it becomes so easy to use a product that has a dispenser. The size of the bottle is pretty big too.  The liquid is aqua blue in color and looks so gorgeous. Since its a see-through packaging, we can check out how much product is left.  This one is suitable for all skin types and is dermatologist tested, so is safe for all skin types.

The colour of the face wash looks like blue lagoon drink. The fragrance is indeed a very invigorating one and smells of strong menthol which is not at all irritating and refreshes your mood.  The consistency is a bit runny gel and a single pump is enough for one use. It has been a week-and-half since I have started using this, and I think the entire bottle may last easily up to 3 months. It does not do anything special for the skin like making the skin fair, protection against ageing or blackhead removal, but I like the simple job that it does – that is cleaning the pores and leaving my skin very fresh, bright, healthy and clean. As soon I applied it on my face and started to massage, it gave an amazing cooling sensation and I felt like I was rubbing ice on the face and that is because of the presence of menthol.

It cleans the pores very well except for the pores near the nose area.  Although they have written it as suitable for all skin types, I would suggest the dry skinned beauties skip this one during winters. However, it is among the best face washes for summers when you come home from the scorching heat.

I loved the face wash and would like to get more stuff from this range, does a very good job of everyday cleansing which will leave the skin healthy and fresh. The pump dispenser also turns around and has a locking system in case you want to carry it somewhere and also the bottle after proper cleansing can be used for some other purpose as well.

Yes, if I get one more bottle, I will surely buy it and I do recommend it to oily skin for throughout the year usage as it removes light makeup and gives such an amazing freshness and boost to the skin.  Those with dry skin can use it during the summers.

Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm in Raspberry

Hello my favourite ladies,

Hope you enjoying the weather and the festival as well. I recently went to Infiniti mall and the decoration there was so superb and glam that I felt like I have entered a place where snowfall recently took place; the decorations were so serene and festive. Anyway coming to this one, it is a lip balm from wet n wild. I finally got to experience this brand and you all by now must be knowing my love for tinted lip balms and here comes one more in my collection.

My take on Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm in Raspberry:

These are some lip balms that many of you might have not noticed but I had an eye on them for quite a long time now and I am so happy that I finally got them. These cute jumbo lip balms have a super girly and colourful packaging that adds so much fun on your shelves. I got the one in Raspberry because somewhere looking at the shades I assumed that this would be highly pigmented in comparison to the other shades. It comes in a big fat cylindrical stick which is hot pink and white in colour with pictures of cute raspberry on it. The stick is very handy and the top lid does not get separated in any case from the stick. But the only problem with the packaging is when you close the lid, a lot of lip balm gets stuck onto the lid and this causes a lot of wastage. Hence I always have to be very cautious while closing the lid. The bullet of the lip balm comes in a hot pink colour and looks damn gorgeous and it is pretty thick too.

The texture is very thin when you start applying it and it glides like a dream on the lips but at times I am not comfortable with such smooth texture because it may start bleeding. But after 10 minutes or so it starts becoming buttery and thick which is like the other lip balms. It gives an amazing pink tint better than the other pink tinted lip balms that I have used in the past and makes the lips appear fuller and healthier. The fragrance is a mild sweet raspberry one and I loved how it smells because I am a big fan of fruity fragrances. It also has SPF 15 so would provide good protection from the sun. The formula is very moisturising and hydrating for the lips and would reduce the appearance of the chapped lips too. I am loving these lip balms currently and would seriously cry when I finish them off as we have no access to this brand here.

Pros of Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm in Raspberry:

-Very affordable and travel-friendly
-The packaging is super cute, girly and fun to have
-The size is a jumbo one so the quantity is much more as compared to other lip balms
-4 fruity variants to try out and they contain SPF 15 too
-The balm has a mild raspberry fragrance and lingers on for a while
-The colour pay-off is mind blowing and you get all the tint in just one swipe
-It glides on very smoothly on the lips and gives a magnificent glossy shine to the lips
-The lips look so cute and healthy and the colour and the balm both stay on for like 2-3 hours and then re-application is needed
-Controls chapped lips as well
-Does not feel heavy on the lips and leaves a nice very soft stain behind

Cons of Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm in Raspberry:

-There are some flaws with the packaging; while closing off the lid if you do it very quickly then you might just ripe off half of the lip balm on the lid and that is how wastage will happen
-Initially when you apply it the texture tends to be extra smooth which may bleed but after 10 minutes it starts thickening up and becomes normal

Will I repurchase/recommend Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm in Raspberry?

Yes I will surely repurchase it again as I just loved the cute pink effect and the glossy shine that it imparted to my lips and they were very moisturised and soft till the time it was on and I surely recommend these as if you are looking out for tinted ones try the cherry or the raspberry one for sure.

This will be a part of the okay category because you know how much variety we have in glosses so it becomes really difficult to come out with the best ones. See how this one worked for me.

How I liked the ELF plumping lip glaze in baby doll:

I have really moved on to the trend of lipsticks since currently I have started to love wearing bold shades but obviously no one can stop this baby from using glosses. And this one is also a very cute shade called the “Baby doll” and I think that was the only reason I got it. This gloss is a tiny-miny one with two sides and comes in a plastic tube and due to its tiny size, it can be carried easily. The packaging is nothing fancy but it is adorable because of the baby pink colour the gloss resembles and also the packaging is amazing in one dollar. I think the range has 5 shades and this is the lightest shade in the entire range and the other shades may be almost the same but just with a little bit difference in the shades because all of them come in the category of sheer lip glosses. The wand of both the sides of the lipgloss is really good and soft and steady enough to apply the lip gloss properly over the lips. One side is a sheer one with has nothing except for soft shimmers so I did not really understand whether to apply it below the pink one or above it. It has a menthol smell which I think would be some of the ingredient used to plump up the lips, as soon as I applied it that tingling sensation started and it was really strong and not that easy to bare and whenever I apply it I am like ready, steady go and the sensation starts. I don’t think everyone would be comfortable with this sort of a sensation but this is what helps the lips to plump.

I applied the baby pink shade above it and then again faced the same sensation but for a shorter time. The colour did not show up much because as you can see it is a very soft and a baby shade and I knew it would not be pigmented but still it was kinda cute! The shade name is perfect as it gives sweet baby looks. The gloss lasted for about 2 hours without sipping water or a meal and if you decide to have a meal then skip this one because as soon as you finish eating, you might end up eating the gloss too and there would be only shimmers which look cheap and I personally do not like shimmers all over my lips. And yes talking about the main purpose that is creating a fuller lips it did live upto its claims and gave a fuller plumping look to my lips, so anyone who thinks they have very thin lips can go for this. As of me I wouldn’t buy it again because my lips are already pretty thick and I cannot afford any more thickening.

Pros of ELF Plumping Lip Glaze – Baby Doll

-Super cheap and very handy too due to its tiny size.
-Has double side with a sheer one on one side and a soft baby pink on the other.
-I don’t think any product can give you plumping at a dollar like this one.
-The shade looks very sweet and dazzles and the shimmers are not that noticeable because all together it gives a shine
-The gloss can be applied individually and also with any other lipstick to give a shine.
-It lasts for like 3 hours without any meal.
-Totally plumps p the lips and makes the lips appear fuller.

Cons of ELF Plumping Lip Glaze – Baby Doll

-That tingling sensation what it gave was seriously very strong and at a point I felt like wiping it off.
-It will not last after a meal and there would be only shimmers which I totally dislike.
-The shade is quite sheer and the pigmentation is every less.
-It is very thick and sticky.

Will I repurchase/recommend ELF plumping lip glaze in baby doll?

No I am done with one from this range and wouldn’t think of buying it again because I do not need any plumping because I do not have thin lips and I would recommend it if you want a plumping effect because I don’t think at this price you can compensate any other product but the shades are quite sheer to go for so swatch them before buying.

I have already talked about my love for tinted lip balms, but I certainly had a doubt about this one because this was green in colour, but I love the watermelon flavour and wanted this one.  I have reviewed the Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm in Raspberry and that proved to be really amazing for me. So, read how the green one worked for me.

My Take on Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm SPF 15 – Watermelon:

I wanted these lip balms for quite a long time now and I am so happy that I finally got them. These are some cute jumbo lip balms that by the packaging look super girly and colourful and it is so much fun to have them.  I got the Raspberry and Watermelon flavours because looking at the shades I assumed that “Raspberry” would be highly pigmented in comparison to the other shades and I got the “Watermelon” one due to its packaging and the temptation that I had to try out the Watermelon flavoured one.

This balm comes in a big fat cylindrical stick, parrot green in colour and looks super cute.  The stick is very handy and the top lid does not get separated from the stick, but the only problem with the packaging is when you close the lid, a lot of lip balm gets stuck onto the lid and this causes a lot of wastage. Hence I always have to be very cautious while closing the lid.  The bullet of the lip balm comes in a parrot green colour and looks damn gorgeous and is pretty thick too. The texture is very thin when you start applying and it glides like a dream on the lips, but at times, I am not comfortable with such a smooth texture because it may start bleeding.  After 10 minutes or so, it starts becoming buttery and thick, like other lip balms.

Now, coming to the fragrance, it smells like sweet watermelon and like the Boomer gum in watermelon flavour, so I wouldn’t mind licking it up. I was really worried about the green colour and I did not want to get green lips at all and why would anyone want that “P There was green colour on my lips as I started to glide this one.  If you swipe it just once, you will not get that green colour, so I mostly swipe it just once, but still, it makes my lips looks dark as my lips are pink and topping it up with green would blend in and give a dark ugly shade. The green colour settled in the fine lines and looked awful.

So, I have decided to apply a coat of it under any bold lip colour so that the green colour is not visible, but I should say this range is really moisturizing and will keep the lips hydrated all day and additionally it has SPF 15 too.

• It glides on very smoothly on the lips and gives a magnificent glossy shine to the lips.
• Makes the lip look healthy and the balm stays on for like 2-3 hours and then re-application is needed.
• Takes care of chapped lips.
• Does not feel heavy or waxy and can be used under matte lipsticks that are a little drying in nature.

Cons of Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm SPF 15 – Watermelon:

• There are some flaws with the packaging.
• Initially when you apply, the texture tends to be extra smooth which may bleed, but after 10 minutes, it starts to thicken up and become natural.
• Imparts a green colour to the lips and also the florescent green colour settles down in fine lines and looks really awful and makes my lips look dark.

Will I Repurchase Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm SPF 15?

No, I would not actually get this one or recommend as it gives a green colour to the lips and who would want to go out with green coloured lips and if anyone would like, you can surely take mine You could try out the “Cherry” or “Raspberry” flavours.

How have you all been doing? What are the resolutions for the New year? I do not make any because I know I am not going to follow them, so come as they may. Wishing you all a very happy new year from my side. Hope the coming years are even more amazing and better than the past years. Coming to today’s product it is a concealer palette from ELF. This would be a great pick for any of you and this has 4 different shades and obviously there is certain discoloration that happens as the seasons change, so this might be of great use without putting on more money in the concealers when your skin colour tends to change. Let’s see how this one worked for me.

How to use:

How I liked the ELF complete coverage concealer:

It was great of me to get this one because this palette has 4 good shades and this palette is available in 3 variants: light, medium and dark. I picked the light one because the medium one would look to patchy on my skin and a dark patch would be visible over my cheeks making people notice that I have applied a concealer. This Palette comes in a black plastic covering which you can open up like a compact. The packaging is simple and the shades are visible from the palette through a see-through glass on the palette. There is a small mirror inside as well so we can use it while touching up the face with the concealer. The palette is super handy to carry and has a small brush inside as well but I think it is pretty small but my fingers work better than that brush for blending and dabbing purpose. The palette has 2 yellow toned concealers and 2 concealers that would be suitable for skin with pink undertones. The first and the third shade come for the skin with pink undertone and second and the fourth one for skin with yellow undertones. I am currently using the third shade because it matched my skin perfectly. The texture is pretty creamy and soft and blends on well but it may try out after some time so the blending has to be done quickly.

For the under eye area it does not make a great difference because it hardly provides a coverage for the dark circles and it looks pretty white under the eyes making me look like a vampire but the great part is that it works great on blemishes and redness as they claim. It covers out them perfectly and does not make my blemishes visible at all. I normally dab the concealer and cover it up with a loose powder for it to stay in place and set it with a make-up setting spray for longer results. You can see in the picture how effectively it did the work. It lasts for about 3 hours and then it starts to fade and then the blemishes start to re-appear but I think for that price 3 hours is more than enough. It is a very good palette when you know your skin tone will change with seasons and I have used great concealers but this is not that bad too.

Pros of ELF Complete Coverage Concealer

-Handy and very affordable
-Has a small mirror and a cute brush accompanied
-It comes for 3 skin tones: Light, medium and dark
-A palette contains 4 shades with two shades for skin with yellow undertones and 2 shades for skin with pink undertones
-This palette is very useful when your skin tone changes or tans and you do not have to invest in a number of concealers of different shades
-The texture is moderately creamy but gets nicely dabbed on imperfections
-It covers up my blemishes and redness of the pimples in an amazing way
-Lasts for about 3 hours

Cons of ELF Complete Coverage Concealer

-It is not at all useful for under eye dark circles because it makes that area look white and cakey.
-The brush is basically of no use and my fingers work better

Will I repurchase/recommend ELF complete coverage concealer?

Yes, I will totally recommend this as it comes in 3 shades and every palette has 4 shades and plus at that price they do an amazing job of concealing the imperfections. I have not thought of getting it again since this will take a lot of time to get over and I like trying new things.

This is my first dry shampoo that I was going to try out and was super excited as there is always a thrill to use out such unique products. The one is was going to try out is from Suave which claimed to be a keratin infusion one and all the products that claim to contain “Keratin” have always attracted me. The dry shampoo comes in a gorgeous metallic gold bottle and it looks very shiny and glossy and is quite big in length too. The quantity is amazing as to what price they have taken. The bottle is pretty big in size so I wouldn’t be comfortable carrying it around. It has a black cap and underneath is a black spray nozzle. Firstly I did not know how dry shampoos work so I had to read each and every step on how to use it and also had to surf the net how to use it. Then finally after going through all sorts of articles, the excitement started to build up and yo! I had my fingers on the nozzle. The shampoo was supposed to be sprayed on most oily parts of the hair mainly the scalp because that tends to get more oily in between the regular shampoos. I had the bottle held far away as much as I could lift it up according to my height lol; and I sprayed it on the oily part that is the scalp. There was no itchiness or anything and it was much like a spray, I couldn’t see anything coming out of it; it was like a deodorant.

Before that I sprayed it on my hands too to see what powder is coming off but did not notice anything as such. The fragrance was very powdery but was equally fresh and I enjoyed having it on. I had read that I was supposed to wait 10 minutes for it to function. I sat back and relaxed and it was 20 minutes up but only half of the oil was taken away and my hair were still a bit oily and I was not satisfied, rather waiting for 20-30 minutes I would have gone and actually shampooed and conditioned my hair lol. But the hair looked manageable enough to style and they did look fresh from how it looked before and they felt soft and the frizziness had gone away. The big problem was the powder that was left on the scalp; it would have absorbed all the oil then it would have been easy to remove the powder but the hair were a bit oily and the powder got stuck on the scalp and it was not that easy to brush them out. People might think that I have so much dandruff because they probably wouldn’t know what a dry shampoo is! So concluding I would say that the satisfaction of shampooed hair is unparalleled; this brand so far worked fine but not exactly the way I expected. I am yet to try out on more and that looks like a better brand than this because it is expensive so then I would finally make a verdict about dry shampoos.

Pros of Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo :

-A big bottle for that price and less expensive as compared to the other dry shampoos
-Has a spray nozzle and that works very well too and the packaging is pretty in golden and black
-The spray is convenient to use rather than those lose powders that are available in tubs in powder form
-Contains keratin which is very good for the hair
-Add moderate volume to the hair and gives a boost to thin limp hair like mine
-The fragrance is kind of powdery which is super good and lingers after spraying it
-It is simple to use; you just have to spray it from 8 inches away
-Makes hair pretty manageable to style

Cons of Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo :

-A dry shampoo wouldn’t give the satisfaction like a shampoo because it did not make my hair look that fresh; half of the oil was absorbed that too after 30 minutes of spraying this and yet according to me my hair did not look like I have shampooed them.
-The powder that is left on the scalp after the spray process is not that easy to remove; it has to be brushed abrasively and people may mistake that powder for dandruff.

Will I repurchase/recommend the suave professionals keratin infusion dry shampoo?

Umm.. no perhaps I would want to try out the other dry shampoos but this one has certainly created a block in my mind whether dry shampoos really work or not; but still I will try some other brands and no I would not recommend this one at all because the oil was not absorbed much off the scalp  and that is what it was supposed to do, so try the other brands but not this one.

I went to beauty shop a few days ago and got many items just for day to day use nothing special but obviously the number of products is great though. Actually my aunt came from the states and she wanted to shop for cosmetics and beauty stuff so we went to Shopperstop and beauty shop to buy a few things and how could I return bare handed? This was one of the buys from the store. I have opened up to coloured eye liners but only to blues and greens. I got two of them recently, so will review the blue one today. There were I think 5 shades of blue but ultimately I picked up this one.

My experience with Jordana Eyeliner Pencil in 034 Ocean Blue:

I have tried many of the blue eye liners and my favourite till date is the chambor one but that finished up so I just took this for trial purpose. I got another shade in green. There were soo many shades to decide from but ultimately I ended up getting these. The liner comes in a blue coloured wooden pencil along with a copper cap; the packaging is nothing fancy but its fine. It is very handy and can be sharpened whenever we want but they have not provided a sharpener with it so I obviously had to use the one that was lying with me. The product wastage was pretty low as compared to the other lip and eye pencils that I have used so far. But the pencil will last for a very long time as the product usage is minimum at a time and I don’t apply such colourful liners everyday.

The shade that I picked up is ocean blue and it is a bright deep blue colour which greatly resembles the ocean colour and I am glad I picked this one because the shade that appears on the hand is the same that appears on the eyes. It can be applied under the eyes as well as over the eyes. The consistency is not that creamy but does not hurt the eyes while applying. There is no tugging or pulling with this one. 2-3 strokes are needed for the full colour to show up. The shade looks very attractive on the eyes and it totally enhances the look of the eyes. It is a prefect matte shade with no shimmer in it which makes it look so pretty. It lasts for about 3-4 hours on the eyelids and under the eyes and just for half an hour on the waterline. Infact they have 6 different blues to pick up from, so you can choose the best one that suits you. I loved this pencil and apply it at times when I want that heavy eye make-up and I think everyone should try this one.

I am here with one of the most raved product in the entire hair section abroad. Yes I am talking about this cutie that is a dry shampoo from “Batiste”. I am sure all of you might have heard about their dry shampoos and that is what the brand is famous for. I got the one in blush because it looked so cute and it claimed to have a fruity and a floral fragrance. I opted for a small bottle, which I regret now, as I should have got a big one. Let’s see how it worked.

How Batiste describes it?

Batiste Dry Shampoo is perfect to use between washes. A quick burst revitalizes hair & removes any excess grease. Hair feels gorgeously clean & fresh with added body & texture.

Directions: Shake vigorously before use. Keeping nozzle about 30 cm from hair, spray into roots. Massage through with fingertips. Brush & style.

My experience with Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush:

Dry shampoos are really my thing as I don’t like getting up early in the morning to shampoo my hair in such a freezing climate. This one is a very famous brand and well known for dry shampoos so will not talk much about the brand. I got the travel size pack because I had not really tried dry shampoos before so I was not sure if it would actually work for me. This one comes in a tiny cylindrical can in pink and white colour with all lovely pink flowers over it and as I lift it I could feel that the quantity is less. It has a transparent cap and has a spray nozzle which is very easy to use. You can carry it in your bag around as well as use it instantly before a sudden office conference or a date; it will make your hair look as fresh as they were when you left home in the morning.

They have strictly instructed to hold the spray 30 cm away from the scalp and spray it. As soon as I started to spray it I was taken over by a lovely fragrance which was exactly what was described on the pack floral and fruity, the name “Blush” is perfect. As I sprayed it left a whitish grey layer on my hair that made me imagine how would I look when I will become old. A white layer was formed and the instruction was to rub the white powder in so that the oil gets absorbed. It did not take even a minute to rub the white residue, which completely vanished in the process taking away with it all the greasiness and oil from my hair, my hair looked clean as if I have just shampooed them. I did not expect it to work that brilliantly but it proved me totally wrong! I touched the scalp and it felt completely oil free. My mom tried it too and it gave similar results on her thick hair. I am loving this one for my hair and I want some more bottles of it. A lazy person like me would totally need this moreover I shampoo my hair every alternate day and I feel that it would come in handy to save my hair and scalp from over shampooing.

-Available in travel –size as well as a full size and also available in 3-4 variants
-This is great for travel purpose and also when going for office or college
-The spray nozzle is great and is very convenient to use too

-My hair looked very fresh and soft and look liked I had shampooed the hair but obviously the satisfaction is a bit low
-Works on thick hair as well as thin fine hair
-Does not leave a white cast on the hair and the powder can be easily brushed up from the hair

-Not easily available in India but it is available on certain online stores but at a very higher price
-This dry shampoo is a bit expensive as compared to other brands but a lot more effective than the other ones

Of course a big YES..!! I want to get as many bottles as possible but this has totally proved it to me that dry shampoos actually work but some brands may not, so if you want to pick one then it would be this brand for sure. I am dying to get this and I regret getting this travel size and I will seriously cry when this will get over because it is such a tiny one.

I am here again with a lip balm and I think the most popular thing selling currently would be those cute little lip balms and lip butters but they have such a gorgeous packaging that would influence any girl to pick up even 10 of those like me. This one is from “Blistex” and I think they are well known for their medicated lip balms but this was a random pick because I saw this flavour and was very attracted to pick it up. I have always had my favourite soda drink as “Pink lemonade” so though this would almost smell the same. Let’s see how this one worked for me.

How I liked the blistex raspberry lemonade blast SPF 15 lip protectant/ sunscreen?

I saw this flavour and seriously could not resist picking it up. I love such handy and cute lip balms in order to carry it in my sling to college as in the morning it seems that the temperature is becoming breezy day by day; hence I need tonnes of these in my closet. Coming to this one, it comes in pinkish maroon cylindrical stick with a blue packaging in the middle of it. And there is a cute picture of raspberries and lemon over it and this is pretty tiny so it is very convenient for me to just shove it up in my pockets. This is also a little thin as compared to our Lotus Herbals or baby lips lip balm. Although in winters I don’t think I will need any SPF but it is good since it has SPF 15 content. There is a twisty thing at the bottom as same as the other lip balms. And the lip is tight as well so the packaging would get full marks. The quantity of the lip balm is pretty good and will last for atleast 3 months even if applied every day. The lip balm is basically transparent and does not have any hint of colour so in short this is not a tinted lip balm but it is fine because at times I feel I have to stock up on non –tinted lip balm as well. As soon as you open up the lid, a fruity flavour of exactly the soda I love that is “Pink lemonade”. The fragrance is amazing and it actually has a lemonade fragrance along with a blend of raspberry smell and it smells great actually. The fragrance lingers for a while on the lips initially for like 30 minutes and then it soon starts to fade off. When you actually try to lick it looking at that amazing flavour all you can taste is sweetness. The texture of the lip balm is a little waxy but does not feel heavy on the lips at all. It keeps my lips healthy and moisturised for about 2 hours and it is a perfect one for chapped lips and it lasts for about an hour which is pretty less as compared to the others but re-application with this is not a tough job, so it is quite fine with me. But I would not try any other lip balms from this brand as they are nothing special and no tint as well so one time shot was fine. Overall it is a good one with that lovely fragrance but when it is on the lips it is nothing special, just the one to give a quick heal to the chapped lips.

No, I don’t think so you should get it until you have extremely chapped lips; if that is the case then it will completely heal them up. And I would not purchase it because it is fine till I finish it up but then there is nothing extremely popular or special about it.

I am not really fond of applying toners or astringents but as they say it is an important part of the CTM routine, I somehow manage to apply it twice a day getting out of my laziness but I will admit that at times I skip it as well but applying it at the night time is like a mandatory thing for me. I am always attracted to toners with salicylic acid because my skin is pretty unpredictable and a pimple may pop out without expectation. I finished my clean and clear blackhead clearing cleanser and wanted something like that only, so I started using this after the former one. I am sure all the people who are addicted to beauty gurus on Youtube will have surely heard about this one. Let’s sum the details of this one up.

How did I like the Neutrogena clear pore oil-eliminating astringent:

When it comes to toners I am not really picky, I can adjust with any kind of toner and mostly I would prefer something for my pores, acne or skin whitening. This one is designed especially for oily skin and for those who are facing some minor or major acne issues. The astringent comes in a big sturdy bottle which is transparent and has a white flip open cap and you can easily make out how much product is left and I like such bottles. Though being very huge in size I manage to take it out of towns but I don’t think so everyone will be comfortable doing that. The bottle looks light aqua in colour because the toner is of that colour but as you pour it onto a cotton pad or your hands it will lose its colour and will look like water. This one contains salicylic acid which helps to control my pimples and acne to a great extent, but It will not give the desired results alone. You will have to use it up with other products to combat with the acne problem. The cap has a small hole by which you can pour the required amount onto a cotton pad but as soon as you open the bottle a strong menthol chemical fragrance is released and I don’t understand why such salicylic acid toners smell so weird?

The fragrance is too heavy for the nose but after you apply it the smell starts to face and then goes away in a couple of minutes. The astringent is light and glides in a go on the face and a little bit cooling sensation is felt on the skin thereby making it ready to apply the moisturiser. It is dermatologically tested and it is an acne medication so will be completely safe to use and for now I did not face any side effects but as salicylic acid dries up the skin and creates a bit redness initially I will not recommend it for the beauties with dry skin. The oil is totally taken off withthe cotton pad thereby leave a matte finish behind on the skin. The oil is controlled for like 3 hours and it pretty much cleans up the pores day by day and not just in one go. My skin did not break out after using this so this worked perfectly for me. For pimples and acne I would say that not a major difference in them but does the work slowly with other products. So currently I am happy using this but I know before I finish such a big bottle, something new will totally come up my way.

-Gives a cooling sensation to the skin and forms a perfect base to apply the face cream.

-It may make the dry skin even drier.
-Has a strong chemical menthol smell which irritates after a while.

Will I repurchase/recommend the Neutrogena clear pore oil-eliminating astringent?

Yes I surely would to people who have oily skin. I think somewhere or the other it will help to control that burst of pimples and will remove all the sebum from the skin and this alone will not do anything great for the pimples or acne but will surely act as a catalyst for other acne fighting products. I will get one more bottle after I am up with this if at all I get it in India.

Herbal Essences Touchably Smooth Smoothing Serum

Serums are something that I use everytime after I take a head bath. The funda is clear that when I let my hair air-dry I apply such serums to give me smoothness and shine by easily detangling the kinks of my hair and when I have to blow-dry it I use a heat protectant to protect my hair against damage. I got two new serums, one from fructis which I have already reviewed and the second one is this. Herbal essences have been one of my favourite brands in terms of hair care due to the luscious burst of fragrance that they give out. I have not tried anything apart from all the shampoos and conditioners from them so will test this one for their consistency.

My experience with Herbal Essences Touchably Smooth Smoothing Serum

I never have hair serums in excess; I always get the other after I finish one. This time I have 3 and this was the last one left to try out so I used this after washing up my hair. I have already tried the touchably smooth shampoo and conditioner from them but have already finished them up so had to use this alone. The serum comes in a gorgeous and attractive looking box in lilac colour along with some cute floral design over it. It looks cute from outside only but somehow I have to shove the box away because it occupies a lot more space than intended. The bottle is a transparent one and has the same floral design over it along with a purplish blue pump dispenser which I love using a lot. The size a perfect one for a hair serum and comes in a palm size and I think this is the only size that is available. The bottle is made up of plastic and will easily fit into and vanity case since the size is small. I always love their packaging and the girly way in which the write up their instructions. The hole in the dispenser is very small that only required quantity comes out and one pump as they say is more than enough for one time use. The consistency is light and runny and it is not at all thick so no doubt of creating a greasiness or oiliness in the hair. You just rub your hands and spread it and it glides on smoothly and covers the entire hair shaft and the ends as well.

The fragrance is a very nice one with perfumed lily and smells very floral and it is to its highest point when you pump it out and spread it on your hair and then after sometime it slowly fades away and does not linger much except if smelled very closely. As soon as I applied it; it detangled my hair perfectly making them appear smooth and pokey straight. I let my hair air-dry and after they were completely dried up I could see an excellent shine in my hair and the main part is it created a shining glaze for my golden brown hair which made the colour look even more rich. The smoothness was amazing and it perfectly lived upto its claims and I could run my fingers from top of the hair to the ends without stopping in between. It made all the frizzy ends go away and they looked healthy and shiny from top to bottom. It will not repair the frizz but will help tame it up for like a complete day and then re-application is needed and after I think a day the frizz comes back. I gave me all that a serum could give and did an amazing job for my thin hair making them look glossy and healthy all the way.

-Accompanied by a pump dispenser which has a tiny hole for the product to come out making it easier to use.

-The fragrance it gives out is of lilies and it is a bit perfumed one but the smell is very floral and I love it when it lingers around for a while and then after some time fades off.
-A pump is required for one time use and the consistency is very runny thereby making it glide easily on the shaft and the ends.
-It helps detangle my hair a lot and does not cause any breakage.
-It made my golden brown colour look even richer by giving me a healthy glaze and a dazzling shine.
-The smoothness was just excellent and I could run my fingers easily from top to bottom.
-The frizzy ends are gone for a day and they look super healthy and stunning.
-Can be used on wet and dry hair as well.

Face masks have always been essential in our daily skin care routine. I have so many of them yet I always get attracted to mud and clay masks. As I saw this mask on the shelf, I thought it was a chocolate mask so I picked it up moreover it looked pretty good too so that I how I ended up getting this product. I always wanted to try this brand and wanted to start with those smaller packets but unfortunately they were not in stock so got this huge tube. Read on to know more about this one.

Product description: Beauty Formulas Rejuvenating Glorious Mud Deep Cleansing Face Mask is formulated with 100% pure clay to help remove dirt and excess oil from the skin surface. Absorbs impurities, unclogs pores and removes dead skin cells. Non-Comedogenic so it will not clog pores. Tightens skin, softens lines and wrinkles. Lanolin free. Leaves skin softer and smoother for a fresh healthy glow.

Directions: Apply to clean dry skin. Apply to face and neck areas avoiding the eye area. Allow it to dry for 10-15 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with clean warm water. Pat dry.

My take on Beauty Formulas Rejuvenating Glorious Mud Deep Cleansing Facial Mask:

I have never used this band before but have always read good reviews on IMBB. I have a weakness for attractive packaging due to which I tend to buy a lot of stuff that I don’t actually need and this was one of them. This face mask comes in a white tube with brown design over it and the fonts in pink and I loved the combination and the way it looks. It does actually look glorious and cute. The cap is a flip open one in brown too and is pretty convenient to use. This is very travel friendly since the size of the tube is not that huge.

It is a clay mask but the texture doesn’t look very much like clay. The face mask is brown in colour and it completely resembles chocolate mousse and I was so excited to see that creamy formula that I enjoy a lot every time I apply it. The texture is super creamy and glides like a dream on the face. It seriously looks very delicious. I wish the scent was chocolaty too. The colour of the mask is somewhat similar to the skin tone so if someone observes closely only then they will come to know that I have a mask on my face. It does not cause any stinging sensation and gives a moderate cooling effect to the skin and that is just so relaxing! It dried up pretty fast in like 10 minutes or so but I washed it up after 15 minutes when the colour completely changed to light brown.

It got off easily with water and my face look brighter instantly, the effect lasted for a day. The skin was oil free and it remained like that for upto 4 hours but then my face it not that oily so the oil takes time to come back. It made my skin dry and stretchy and I had to apply a moisturiser after this one. It makes my face look firm every time I apply this so it pretty much leaves to all its claims. Overall I would say that it is a nice one to try out because it looks like chocolate mousse and you will enjoy applying it because it is so creamy and luscious.

-A flip open cap and a travel friendly tube which is convenient to use as well
-A big one so will last for alteast 3-4 months if applied twice or thrice a week
-A very good clay mask for oily skin which makes the skin oil and shine free after you apply this and the oil doesn’t come back on the skin for like 4 hours in my case.

-Makes my face feel firm and tight every time I use and makes it look brighter and clean and the effects last for a day
-Dires pretty quickly so will not take a major time of your skin care routine
-It looks exactly like chocolate mousse which makes it even more cute to use and the texture is also like a mousse, delicious and creamy and it glides like dream on the skin
-The scent is a perfumed one which last till the time the mask is on the face
-Affordable and did not cause any itching or stinging to the skin

Cons of Beauty Formulas Rejuvenating Glorious Mud Deep Cleansing Facial Mask:

-Limited availability in India
-Makes the skin really dry and stretchy and there is always a need for the moisturiser
-Does not do anything for pimples or blackheads but it never claimed of doing so, so its fine

Will I repurchase/recommend it?

Yes for sure but only after I finish up my other face masks. Would get it again because of the texture and creaminess and also because it dries up pretty quickly and is designed for oily skin. I would like to recommend it as it does a pretty good job and would be great to use every alternate days too for deep cleaning.

DIY: Strawberry Protein Hair Mask

Hello sweeties,

Weekends are always a time for face masks and hair masks. We can easily get luscious and juicy red strawberries these days, so why not take advantage of this tiny fruit? I have used strawberry as a face mask but never tried it as a hair mask but I have read a lot about the benefits of this tiny fruit for hair, so thought of giving it a try. I have used this mask like thrice and have come to the conclusions that it is a great mask to provide hydration and a glossy shine to the hair as well as it treats up the dry and damaged hair.

Ingredients needed:

• 5-6 strawberries (Provides hydration, promotes hair growth, adds a glossy shine and combats frizz for a while)
• Yogurt (Helps to soften the hair, makes them very smooth and helps to treat dandruff)
• Coconut oil or olive oil (Treats dry and damaged hair, promotes growth and many multiple benefits that we all know)
• I whole egg or incase due to some reasons you cannot put egg, replace it with 2 spoons of mayonnaise (Provides the needed proteins to the hair thereby making them soft and silky)

So let’s get started with the hair mask!

IMPORTANT NOTE: This mask is very time consuming as the rinsing process is a bit lengthy because the strawberries are like bananas and those who have used bananas for their hair know how tedious it is to remove the banana residue from the hair, it is the same with strawberries. So use this mask when you are relaxed and free and have a lot of time to spend on your hair.

Step 1: Take 3-4 spoons full of yogurt and pour it into a big bowl so that it does not spill while mixing. Initially add just 2-3 strawberries because adding all the strawberries together will take a hell lot of time in crushing it. I have picked the strawberries which looked a bit stale and were not that healthy to consume; so thought of putting it to a good use rather than wasting them.

Step 2: Now take a crusher and start crushing the strawberries thereby blending them and the yogurt together. One more option is directly put them into a mixer and crush it and that will give you a fine paste rather than crushing them manually. One more reason of directly making a puree is that if there are lumps of strawberries left in the mixture then it will be a tedious job to remove it while washing off the mask.

Step 3: Now add the remaining strawberries to the mixture and crush everything finely. This is how the paste will look. Doesn’t it look delicious? What would be better than a pink air mask, lol? It will be highly edible too as the luscious fragrance was pretty tempting to eat it up but I resisted because I think my hair needed more proteins than my body.

Step 4: Now take an egg and pour the entire egg white and the yellow portion too to add up the proteins for the hair and double up the effects. Properly blend it up and the mixture will now turn into a runny one. People who cannot use egg at their places can put mayonnaise instead of the egg and that will help create a thick paste rather than a runny one.

Step 5: Add olive oil or coconut oil as per your choice, both work really well to give a shine and treat up the damaged hair.

Step 6: We are done with making the mask and this is how it finally looks!

Step 7: Apply it from roots to tips, thereby massaging it on the scalp for 5 minutes which will help for blood circulation and will help the ingredients penetrate inside the scalp and then tie up your hair and cover it with a shower cap so that the mask does not keep dripping.

Step 8: Keep it for a time from 30 minutes to an hour and then rinse off with cold water. This is the worst part in the entire process as the strawberry residue sticks badly to the hair and would be a real pain to get off. After rinsing it off with cold water, make sure to apply conditioner for 5 minutes before you shampoo because the hair will be pretty sticky and stiff due to the egg and if you directly shampoo, it will cause loads of hair to break. Then after rinsing the conditioner, shampoo and condition as usual.

Step 9: Apply a hair serum to soften the hair more and let it air dry.

Tips to keep in mind:

1. Use a strawberry puree instead of crushing the strawberries manually because it will stick a lot while application and rinsing as well.
2. The mask is pretty runny so wear an old t-shirt and apply it in the bathroom only or else you will spoil your room.
3. Do not use hot water while rinsing the mask or you may cook the egg.
4. Clean the bathroom after you are done because a lot of strawberry residue spills and I saved myself by catching the bathroom handle or else I would have got a sprain because I was about to slip badly.

Treat you hair with this mask every week and see the difference yourself, a glossy shine will always be there on your hair and they will feel a lot more smooth and hydrated all the day long. I hope you liked my diy and lazy people do not try this because as I said it is a time-consuming one..!!!
